A ski in ski out hotel in an excellent location. I think the best hotel in Kitzbuhel. Spacious clean rooms, nice spa area, varied breakfast and helpful personnel at the reception. We will definitely come back! The only small area for improvement are the pillows in the rooms that could be improved.

Everything about this hotel is first rate. We had a fabulous room with a mountain view - spotlessly clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide selection of breakfast items, and I was well catered for my gluten intolerance. Excellent spa facilities. Super service throughout the hotel. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Very swift and good check-in, pleasant room ("Klassik Zimmer"). No complaints whatsoever. Certainly at least 4*. If you like to be close to the center of Kitzbuehel, this is a good choice. June is off-season here and the prices are often reasonable. I liked it much better than for example the "Schwarzer Adler". If you want to stay outside, Grand Tirolia is for me slightly preferred (Pool, breakfast) but both are on a high level so that it is a matter of taste. Maybe coffee could be provided in the rooms.

Another very enjoyable stay. The room (especially the capacious bathtub), the meals and the friendly staff were all excellent. For skiers, the location could not be better. It would have been nice to have had complimentary coffee in the room.

Kaiderhof We had a nice 5 day ski and stay This is a solid hotel with a great location It’s not luxury, even though the price may suggest it is. For Americans, I would say it’s a solid comparable to a Sheraton or Marriott. Rooms - Clean, some with spacious balconies and nice views of the mountain. Shower is exceptionally small. Peculiar because the bathroom overall is a good size. Not sure what the plan was, but certainly be aware. My wife and I are both normal BMI and we felt super cramped, unable to move much at all while in the shower. Service - excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Location - superb. Around 150 feet to the gondola from the ski room. Also easily walkable only 5-10 minutes to the center of town. Facilities - There is a small adequate gym, a ski/boot room (heated boot hangars), and a pool. Notably missing is a hot tub, again peculiar since the pool is so large. They have a tiny sauna, steam room and infrared room. Adequate and nice to use but certainly not luxurious or spacious (aside from the very large pool which I never saw anyone use). Food - nice restaurant with a rotating menu. We were quite satisfied with the food and service. Overall - we had a very enjoyable experience. It’s nothing luxurious like we have experienced at hotels in Zermatt, St Moritz or Courcheval. But I get the sense that Kitzbühel is more relaxed and less fancy in general, so I would say that the Kaiserhof is an excellent selection for this particular city/ski slope.

We’ve just returned home after a weeks stay at the Kaiserhof having booked through Inghams. The journey from Salzburg airport to Kitzbuhel took approximately 2 hours as the traffic was quite bad on part of the route. However once there the hotel is in a perfect location for a skiing holiday, being 2 buildings away from the main Hahnenkamm gondola and almost directly opposite the main red run “21” which comes back into town. It is a short walk downhill to the bus and train station and approx 10 minutes into the old part of the town. Our room was in the new south wing on the 3rd floor with views towards the famous Streiff. The room itself was not large but comfortable with plenty of storage/cupboard space and the usual amenities including tea & coffee making, and a mini bar. We did have a couple of issues with obtaining replenished supplies of tea bags and sugar, and were charged when asking for some at the bar. On the next occasion I approached reception instead and was very abruptly told to go to the restaurant. The staff there were going to redirect me to reception until I explained I had been told to go the restaurant! If a hotel is going to provide drinks in the room then it should ensure the housekeeping is replenishing the supplies or make it easier for guests to obtain extra as needed. It was a little frustrating as we didn’t want to have to go to the bar/ restaurant every time we wanted a drink. The food served in the restaurant at both breakfast and dinner was excellent. There was a good mix of local dishes and other more international options, and we loved the local cheeses and ice cream counter for dessert. The wine selection was also good including local wines and schnapps. The pool area with sun beds was a nice place to relax after a days skiing although at times it was busy, especially with it being the German school holidays whilst we were there. Robes and slippers were provided in our room for use in the spa. The boot and ski room in the basement had easy access from outside, and had the usual communal ski racks and heated boot holders. We rented our skis from the Intersport shop next to the Hahnenkamm gondola and they were excellent. We arrived late on the Saturday so had to go to collect them on Sunday morning and were concerned that it would be a scrum! How wrong we were - the staff were all ready and waiting to serve us with plenty of counters open so it was an easy and pleasant experience. The skiing itself is a mix of mainly blues and red runs, being ideal for good intermediate skiers like us, and we managed to ski virtually the whole area in a week. Unfortunately the snow conditions were not great, being hard packed and icy, but the snow cannons were used to good effect to keep the runs open. The lift system is excellent and even when we joined what looked like a long queue we never waited more than about 10 minutes to get on the lift. The ski buses we used to get to Pass Thurn, Jochburg and around town were excellen

Always exceptionally clean and tidy with flowers, wrap around balcony looking over slopes. Great location under the lift. Staff are all friendly and welcoming, will re-book for next year. Fantastic hotel. First of all location is ideal, right next to the gondola. Secondly, the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The food is delicious and the amenities (spa etc) are perfect for the Alps. Honestly, the dinners were like Michelin star restaurant quality meals. Gourmet style and delicious. Let's not forget about the breakfast buffet...anyways, I can keep going on and on about this hotel but I will stop here. Definitely consider Kaiserhof if you visit Kitzbuhel!

I have stayed 7 knights in this fantastic hotel with my wife and 2 kids. Reserved a suite without balcony. Room was perfect, pretty big, well equipped. They have great service, let me write everything more detailed. 1. Ski room is at the basement floor, you can store your boots skis, it is only 20 meters to the end of slopes and only 50 meters to the main gondola. Perfect choice for ski lovers 2. Spa and pool is fantastic. Very clean, silent and pretty big enough 3. Restaurant and breakfast was perfect. Too many choices at breakfast and really a fine dining experience at the dinner. 4. Bar and lobby is really cute and the prices are fair for luxurious kitzbuehl. You do not to dine any where else. 5. They have an underground parking and they are taking care of your car. 6. Staff is the best thing is the hotel. They are very kind, helpful For our kids we choose Rote Teufel school, you can reserve online. Great teachers, great services. For our equipments, we rented them from Element 3 , they are also great and helpful and you can reserve online, do not hesitate to choose both companies. The only negative experience we have faced in kitzbuehl is skiscule snowsports. The owner is very rude, stay away from this shop to rent equipments and also from its school. Instead choose element 3 or Rote Taufel. AVOID ‘SKISCHULE SNOWSPORTS’
