The 1st room allocated to us had a bad stench which smelled like sewage, so we immediately went back down to the reception desk and inform about the stench and requested for a room change which the staff quickly obliged. The 2nd room was okay without any noticeable stench. The manager also promptly went to the 1st room to check on the stench we reported. Compared to the other hotels we stayed in, this particular hotel had an odd smell, somewhat like stale air mixed in with old carpet smell and old heating system smell which was noticeable along the hallway leading to the rooms. The not so fresh air could be due to poor ventilation system or age of the building. The hotel is very huge with lots of rooms so requires one to walk quite a fair bit especially if your rooms are not located near the lift lobby. Coin laundromat was not easy to locate for the 1st time as it was located very far down the corridor from the lift lobby and had only a tiny black signage which was hard to see in the dimly lit corridor. Hotel location was superb as it was within the JR station compound with plenty of shops around.

It is a convenient business hotel with a 2-3 minute walk from the station. The receptionist was friendly and I was able to stay comfortably. I think it is cheaper to stay here even if you pay transportation costs because the hotel fee in Hakata is high. (If you make a net reservation, you can use the Hakata-Ogura limited Express seat (the same amount of free seats) １４７０ yen) And the happy thing is that breakfast is free. There are some parts that are difficult to say that the menu is substantial, but I think it is enough because it is a free breakfast. Chocolate croissant and coffee were delicious. The staff is also good and I want to use it after the next time.

Very close hotel from Shimonoseki Station. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk. The price of the original 々 is also cheap, but we were able to stay at a low price in the Go To Travel campaign. The bed is comfortable and comfortable in a clean clean room. There was also a bicycle rental (1 only) and I was able to use it for Shimonoseki sightseeing. It is 100 yen an hour. This is pribably the best hotel in mojiko, beautiful rooms and good location. Guests for the better rooms have access to the lounge providing drinks and snacks throughout afternoon and evening. However the premier deluxe room that we booked has a split level between the toilet and the bed areas. This is unsuitable and unsafe for people with handicap and elderly couple like us. We had no choice but to ask for downgrading to a normal room. A great disappointment. However, we have to thank their staff for making an effort to relay our hearing aid which we left in the hotel in Hakata. They made sure that we received the ear piece in Kobe. We are very grateful.

It is a convenient location for business and leisure in JR Shimonoseki ３ minutes walk. There is an ion near the station and it is convenient for shopping, and the hotel １ floor was able to spend a good time at a tavern.
