Far from station, car parking lot is a bit far to the Hotel itself and extra pay for Car park which is normal in Japan. Good side is, it’s near the Castle but a bit walking distance going to convenient stores.

If you are in a room close to the elevator, the elevator motor noise may be bothersome.
The Japanese breakfast is delicious, but a little on the strong side.
The curry is recommended.

The building is a little old, but it was a very clean hotel. Kokura Castle and Yasaka Shrine are right in front of you, so I think it's perfect for sightseeing purposes. I will use it again when I stop by Kitakyushu.
