Vrachia Beach Hotel & Suites - Adults Only

Lovely quiet hotel with very friendly staff. Kirsty is such an asset to them with knowledge and always smiling and helpful, especially during cocktail happy hour. Cleaners are there daily and very helpful. Food in restaurant and varied lovely. The bus service is great and consider getting a weekly pass to make it cheaper. Little sea pool and bar nearby and a few restaurants. Japanese in Coral Bay was great but you need to book. If you want noise, wrong place for you.

What an amazing place to stay! We had truly the best holiday here. The hotel is lovely, with amazing food, delicious cocktails and a gorgeous pool. The adult only element kept it quiet and relaxed, no struggle for a sunbed or a table at breakfast. The other guests were from all over and we made some great friends. The villa cats were incredibly cute, the views were spectacular and there were some lovely places to eat within walking distance of the coastal path. But what makes this hotel so special is the truly wonderful staff. Each and every one of them were incredibly friendly and helpful and made you feel so welcome, it was like leaving a family when we left. Would definitely recommend!

We loved it! Beautiful views, gorgeous room, and the pool with the poolside bar was gorgeous. There’s a fantastic member of staff, and I’ve annoyingly forgotten her name, who is just amazing - she was there everyday of our 6 day break so not sure when she ever isn’t working! There’s also two lovely cats which always makes a hotel special. Food was also phenomenal, and we just had a lovely lovely stay. Only thing to note - it’s not near anything besides a few shops, so hire a car or make sure you take lots of cash as Cypriot buses only accept cash (I know?!), and you will need to use them to reach most places.

We stayed here last year and was so impressed decided to return this year and was not disappointed. A gem of an hotel set on the headland so close you almost feel like you can touch the sea. Very quiet and relaxing but with a nice friendly feel. The staff are amazing and work so hard. They are integral to its success. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is also reassuring that the management are able to retain the same team. They have secured a new chef and are trying to raise the profile of the restaurant. We dined there during our stay and can certainly recommend it for future guests. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis by an incredible team of ladies. It is probably unfair to mention particular staff but couldn’t do a review without mentioning the wonderful Kirsty, a human dynamo. Works long hours, always smiling and pleasant, looks after guests like they are her own family, what an asset. Thanks to every one for making our holiday so enjoyable once again. We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Vrachia Hotel, choosing one of their fully refurbished suites, and were generally very impressed with our experience. Our suite was a true highlight. It offered a fabulous sea view that provided a stunning backdrop throughout our stay. The room was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room to unwind, and included a small kitchen area which, although we didn’t use it, would be perfect for longer stays or the occasional meal. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a huge shower with a rainfall style head, multi jets, and lovely smelling toiletries. The suite was spotless upon arrival, and we appreciated finding a large bottle of water waiting for us in the fridge. Beyond the room, the hotel itself is remarkably clean and efficiently run. The staff deserve a special mention. They are exceptionally friendly and strike just the right balance, chatting with guests as much or as little as preferred, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The swimming pool has also been recently renovated, looking fresh with new tiles, Roman steps, and a handrail. The pool area and pool bar are expertly managed by Kirsty, who provides fantastic service all day. Drinks, including fresh smoothies and juices, are made to order and delivered directly to your sunbed, which really adds to the relaxed holiday feel. Breakfast was fairly simple but had everything we wanted, including fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, and cooked items like eggs, bacon, and sausages. One evening, we also dined at the hotel restaurant. The food was lovely, accompanied by a carafe of very nice local wine, and of course, a beautiful sunset to enjoy. We did also enjoy a cocktail in the bar most evenings, with a shout out to Nemi for his cocktail skills! While our stay was largely positive, there were a few minor areas where we felt improvements could be made, especially given the higher price point of the refurbished rooms. We received a large bottle of water on arrival, but no additional bottles were provided daily. In our experience, a daily bottle of water is quite standard in most hotels, regardless of their star rating. Also, while the room was serviced daily with the bed made and bathroom cleaned, some smaller details seemed overlooked. For example, a couple of glasses we used for water were never cleaned or replaced during our stay, which we would typically expect as part of daily housekeeping. Overall, the Vrachia Hotel offers a very pleasant and relaxing experience, particularly in their refurbished accommodations. The friendly staff and excellent pool service stand out and contribute greatly to a memorable holiday. With just a few tweaks, it would truly excel.
