Although the hotel is a bit old, as a traveler who pursues the aurora, the environment is really good. As long as the weather is good, you can easily see the aurora in the hotel. Even if you only need 1 KP, you can take pictures of the aurora with your mobile phone. There is also a national park near the hotel, which is very beautiful and you can go for a walk during the day.

Great experience and would go back to Abisko in a heartbeat! Stayed in shared apartment with a sauna which was perfect! Fabulous views of the lake and beautiful views from the sauna. Great daytime hiking and saw the northern lights 2 of the 3 nights. The second night we could see the lights from the guest house early in the evening. Close to the train station and local supermarket which has an eclectic mix of options. Did a few tours one with guest house which was fabulous. Facilities clean and tidy. Gear to hire which was perfect for night time adventures! Check in/out use of facilities and baggage storage was excellent. Would highly recommend.

What an amazing place to visit. Everyone was very helpful and as long as you wear the right clothes, you're not cold at all. We enjoyed seeing the sculptures in some bedrooms, having a cocktail in the Ice Bar and of course, sleeping overnight on an ice bed. Surprisingly, I slept well....probably because we had thoroughly enjoyed the snowmobile trip until 11 pm... which was an experience not to be missed. Before heading back to the airport, we walked just down the road from the hotel to see the Reindeer Farm, where we were able to feed them close up A smashing end to an unforgettable wonderful holiday.

The overall feeling is very good. The cabin is in the form of a room and a cabin and the car can be driven to the door of the cabin. It is very convenient to take luggage and everything. The room is not very warm in the cabin and found that half of a radiator does not seem to be hot, so call the front desk Send someone to the front desk immediately I thought it was normal when I came, and I was afraid that we felt cold. In addition, I gave a heating service. The attitude is also very good. Lunch and dinner in the hotel are also delicious. The price is also OK and the hotel can order various items. The service attitude of the sled is very good Let’s talk about breakfast. Breakfast is included in the room rate. It’s very good. There are a lot of things and they are all delicious. Anyway, it feels good.

Fairly basic ‘hostel’ twin room …. With en-suite toilet - showers and sauna along the corridor. Very comfy beds, easy to control heating and ventilation, good storage space. Excellent breakfast included. Access to kitchenette(s) with fridge space etc and comfy seating area. Excellent and reasonable restaurant in main building (see separate review). Hostel at the ‘top’ of the ‘old centre’ with access to walking/skiing trails etc.

The hotel is next to the lake, which is very suitable for watching the aurora at the door of the hotel. Unfortunately, the clouds were too thick on the day of check-in and we couldn't see the aurora. The hotel has glass houses and cabins. The glass houses look very simple and have low cost performance. You must book all kinds of snow sports in advance, otherwise you will not be able to book them. I played all the way for 6 days, one city every day, thinking about going there and booking all the activities for the next day. In the last 6 days, I didn’t play a single activity. What a great hotel! As I was staying there, I'd write to friends and family and tell them that if they ever come by Kiruna they have to stay here. Sent my sister a video of the massive gym, she loves working out and is very picky and was amazed by all the machines and weights that were in the gym! The gym also has saunas, I noticed. I definitely fell in love with this place and want to go back ASAP. Me and my friends several times said that we just wanted to live there. We felt like we lived in the billiard room and we were so surprised it wasn't constantly booked up! There's a speaker you can hook up to there and play your own music as you're singing and dancing and playing pool. After that we would go to the sauna and swimming pool which was amazing, to unwind after a long day and then sleep well. It would be great if the swimming pool was open 24/7 but I understand that's not possible, but it would have been nice to be able to go swimming, sauna, shower and then go have breakfast. Or go swimming later than 22. Nonetheless, loved it. It's so nice to be able to swim under the bridge and friends who didn't like swimming could stay on top of the bridge and still partake and didn't have to get wet. I saw that there was a pool outside as well but I suppose that one is used during the summers? The breakfast was delicious and they had so many great options and also vegan options which was lovely. The vegan pizza in the Pub Eden was also great, best pizza I've had. Would be nice if they could have a vegan garlic sauce or something like that on the side. But otherwise, juuust great. The staff was super lovely, the people in the reception, pub, breakfast staff also. Super sweet place. I definitely miss it now haha.

We had the warmest of welcomes and great hospitality at this modest unpretentious hotel, just when we needed it most - after a terrifying drive through a blizzard down the E10. Even though we were just staying in their car park in our mobile home, the hospitality was generous and beyond anything we expected. Thanks so much!
