Brilliant location with excellent views and easy to get across to the other side. The lodge itself has a lot of stairs and the room for four was tiny! The bathrooms were ok, clean but shared with many people. Walls are thin so unfortunately could hear the couple next door which was awkward!

I had a good experience at Glenferrie Lodge, the location was great and I really appreciated the free room upgrade and late check out on my last night. The other nights I stayed in a single room and the room smelt a little dank but after a good airing out it seemed to improve ☺️

The location is nice. Good view, close to ferry stop. You can go restaurant by 10 minutes walk. The staff were kind. Breakfast is simple and delicious. The room is clean but shared toilet and shower rooms seem like older one. And little bit noisy.

The young lady in reception was extremely polite and helpful. Overall pleasant experience

The environment is beautiful, with the best angle to see the Sydney Opera House and Iron Bridge. The breakfast is rich, with Chinese service, and is very welcoming. We have three beds, and the room is not crowded. Although the bathroom is shared, it is very convenient. The bath water is very flush, and there are body soap and shampoo. The appearance is like a very old villa, which has a sense of age. It is highly recommended. 👍

Check-in process is fast. The breakfast menu is standard but quite okay. Every day the samlah is cleaned. The location is quite far from public transportation because it is located in an elite residential area. Overall is good for stay.

There were stains on the sheets that had not been washed before. If so, why not throw it away?

It was nice to have good cafes, Milsons Point, and Luna Park around the accommodation. The inconvenient thing is that the building is old and the room smells a bit. There is a washing machine, but there is no detergent so you have to buy it separately.

The hotel has a long history, and there is a photo of the founder of the hotel in the hotel in 1930 at the door of my room. Although the economy room does not have a private bathroom, the public bathroom is very clean, even cleaner than the private bathroom in many hotels. The water pressure is high and the bathing experience is very good. The staff are welcoming and responsive.

Great, very comfortable

I had the best stay in this property. For my surprise , it was just 8 minutes by walk and you catch the best view Opera House and Harbour Bridge . It’s really close to train station and easy street parking!

Liked most everything about Glenferrie Lodge. Great value for money breakfast. Comfortable bed. Air conditioner and ceiling fan to keep nice and hot or cool. Only negatives I experienced included another guest who probably didn’t want to disturb his family decided to make a very loud phone call outside my door at 4am and a TV set that didn’t work.
