Royal Marine Hotel

Great service and comfy beds, manager treated us well and was very kind, breakfast was good and served quick. Stayed in the apartment and suited the three of us perfectly. Would recommend to other people to stay here and see the views that are outside.

i will begin by saying this is such a fantastic building. however its in terminal decline unless the owners can fund a recovery which given it has been moved into Liquidation in August probably wont happen. Faulty Towers is accurate up to a point - no shower matt - windows didnt shut properly - the shower was near on dysfunctional due to hot/cold tap boiler fed combo that if turned on to max will result in the hose falling off its mounting. Mind you if you wanted fresh water sit in the breakfast area and if someone was having a shower in the room above you got it on your table. Take cash as staff will record your bank details on a piece of paper stating their machine was broken. Sorry folks but its best avoided.

Spent 5 nights here with my partner. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Room was nice and cosy. Destination perfect as right next to the ferry. Lots of beautiful scenery. Sunrises are gorgeous looking over the water. Ended up staying 2 extra nights. Will defo be back in the summer.

I have stayed here on several occasions with my family and friends and always had a warm welcome and a great experience I love the character of the building and the stunning views. Dylan and his staff work very hard always go over and beyond to ensure a pleasureable stay the rooms are clean and well decorated. A cosy bar with a magnificent fire is a plus.

I recently stayed at the Royal Marine Hotel in the Arran Suite, and it was a nice experience. The suite was incredibly spacious and cosy, spotlessly clean, and offered stunning views over the waterfront. The hotel itself is magnificent to look at as a building! Dillan, the manager, was extremely helpful and made us feel so welcome. I had a fantastic night’s sleep, and my husband and I enjoyed a wonderfully cosy evening together. I would recommend this hotel if your laoking for a nice quite night. I’ve stayed in some other of the rooms and they all have a decent standard especially for the price .
