The Victoria

We stopped by The Victoria on the off chance when when were in the Dales doing the Mighty Hike for Macmillan. The service was brilliant but what was even better were the gluten and lactose free options. Trying to find somewhere where they understand and can serve delicious gluten and lactose free food are rare gems, and this is one of them. Thanks so much for the delicious food and the fuss free service. Would highly recommend!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, friendliness, food and service at this lovely traditional Yorkshire Dales pub. The food was excellent quality and cooked to perfection with a great variety of beers to accompany it. We enjoyed everything so much that we continued to eat here several evenings and will be back again sometime.

Just spent 2 night here and can’t fault it. Great from start to finish. Friendly place with great food and drink. Great location if you are looking for somewhere a bit quieter. Roughly about 25 minute walk alongside river into Malham itself.

Nice country inn. Narrow, steep stairways a bit of a hassle to maneuver with luggage, but staff was quick to offer help at all times. The room was a comfortable size (important since we got rained out one day while the restaurant/pub were closed !) and nicely decorated. The bathroom is a bit small with a small sink and small shower, but plenty of hot water to warm up after getting caught in the rain. Breakfast was the fully cooked version and delicious - the ingredients all tasted fresh. We had dinner at the on premises pub and it too was delicious. I can imagine that the National Park area must get swarmed in the summer, so this was a nice retreat while still within walking distance of the park (about a mile away) Welcoming hospitality and good beers on tap.
