My sincerest gratitude to the professional service and helpfulness of the front desk staff in particular the Div. Manager, Mr. Atsuyoshi Kubota, who patiently search for available medical service during late hours for treating my wife's injury and also voluntarily arrange a staff to accompany us to the hospital. Ram Kumar, the accompanying staff, is instrumemental in our communication to the medical personnels and he is so kind to arrange late dinner for us at the hotel's discretion. They not only demonstrate the highest level of professionalism but also their genuine care of the well being of the customers. Once again, big big thanks to Mr. Kubota and his team of beautiful people. By the way, good breakfast and dinner, both in terms of the menu as well as service and venue.

The balance of the facilities and services of the inn and the price is good It was an inn. I think the family trip with a small child is the best inn. If there are 5 baths, there is nothing to say. The service of the staff was also very pleasant. Thank you for taking care of me. On the other hand, I like a large bath that I put in at any time. It may also be related to the source, but I don't like the bath to walk outside. This time it was difficult to use especially in the night due to bad weather. I evaluated the negative point of not having an elevator and not a shower toilet.

It was nice to be able to see the hot spring smoke coming out of the window of the guest room. At the restaurant for dinner, we were shown to seats next to the window. I ate an Italian course meal while looking at the blue pool in front of me and the rising smoke of the hot spring beyond, feeling like I was in a resort hotel somewhere overseas. The open-air bath in the guest room is not a Japanese-style bath, but rather a bathtub with no hot water in it, which you turn on and fill with hot water. The large public bath is larger than this bath and has a spectacular view, so we recommend it.

Kagoshima Airport, the 13:40 3 bus departs on time, and arrives at Maruwei at 14:40 on time. The station is about 800 meters walk away. You can make an appointment to pick up the hotel in advance. The hotel is located on the bank of the valley stream, quiet and integrated with nature. The hotel mobile phone has no signal, only the lobby has WIFI, which makes people feel away from the world. Hotel bathing beach, not only has a large bath, but also the open air wind for two people is limited to 30 minutes, the family pool is limited to 40 minutes, free but need to make an appointment in advance. Because we only had two nights of accommodation, we went to visit the Wudao Shrine that day and the uncle at the front desk took us to the bus station very enthusiastically. The next day was arranged at Wudao Art Park. Because there was no bus, the front desk arranged for us to take a taxi, which was about 4200 yen one way. On the third day, the uncle of the hotel sent us to the bus station (there was a front desk reservation the night before to inform us of the departure time). Because Japanese buses are basically punctual, usually the time of delivery by the hotel is only about 3-5 minutes in advance. Very good hot spring experience, I really want to come again. This hotel is situated on top of a hill. We were warmly greeted with help to move the luggage . Check in was fast and efficient . The room came with twin hard beds that we slept on so soundly . Room was big , wifi adequate. There was an attached bathroom though the bathtub was quite deep in . The highlight of the stay was the private onsen situated in the middle of the forest . What an amazing experience . We could not get the day slots so we were given the night slots at 730 pm . Do book early . The management will liase with you via email to book the onsens . Dinner was kaiseiki - lovely food with hotpot for vegetables . Breakfast was Japanese adequate . Overall a wonderful stay .

I used it for a day trip bath. The hot springs are large and splendid. Sukayu Onsen Ryokan in Aomori is said to be a thousand-person bath, but it seems that more people can take a bath here. It is a huge hot spring similar to a gymnasium. There are various spring quality and you can enjoy it. There were various types of bathtubs. I didn't stay at the hotel, but it seems to be a hotel with a history. The garden was also magnificent. Kirishima Onsen is far from the railway station and the number of buses is not so large, so it is convenient to rent a car.

Style. Meticulously renovated restored and recently opened hotel of 9 separate houses throughout town Setting. Upcycled machiyas for a sense of nostalgia in a once busy coastal merchant town. An escape from touristy Kyoto, I drove in but the train is only 90 min ride from Kyoto station Explore. The under the radar quiet little seaside town including the splendid bank from 1920s, cute shops and restaurants, and other historical machiyas, several of which have been turned into hotel accommodations, each one unique Rooms. My lovely spacious two storey townhouse Konoji, built early Showa period, more an uncluttered private home (with laundry machine, books etc) was super close to “downtown” and just hidden behind the hotel’s French restaurant, in the heart of town, 1163 square feet with two bedrooms, meticulously rebuilt, except for the wood beamed roof of the ground floor living room, the house looks completely brand new, the facade of the other townhouses (all in separate buildings) looked more authentically old @ the hotel I love the historical colorful stories of the town. A short walk from the once bustling but still shimmering Kuzuryu River. Most staff spoke English well especially the staff that checked me in. Food & drinks. . It was about 25000 yen per night. The room had two large refrigerators and two semi open-air baths connected to the hot water and the hot water. Both are source water. I found this place when I lived in Kirishima Onsen Village and tried to move to another place. Check-in at 4 o'clock.. I arrived early.. I got off at the nearest train station and picked up the service later, 4 check-in was a bit late. Because it is a residential area, you can't see anything near Yokan. On the contrary, it is really quiet, so it’s nice to rest. There are too many kaiseki dinners, I did not apply, I only applied for breakfast. The breakfast time was really good, I looked at the scenery outside~~The hot spring was too slippery.. The stone was too slippery. I enjoyed the hot spring very carefully. The location is not very good. . Most Japanese people come here.. Most of the staff can only speak Japanese.. When you stay in a ryokan, please show the important content printed in English Thank you very much for taking care of me.

鹿児島空港からレンタカー利用３０分弱で到着しました。 ホテルは本館と別館に分かれてますが本館の方が吹き抜けもありゴージャス、別館はチェックインした本館フロントから３Fにある館内の通路を抜ける必要があるので少々面倒です（別館の方がランク下という感じ）。 アサインされた別館のツインルームは室内が長方形ではなく少々いびつな造りなので使い勝手は今ひとつだったというのが正直な感想です（ひとりでツインルーム使用なら快適だと思います）。 大浴場は本館の地下にあるので別館泊だと結構離れてます。雰囲気はスポーツジムにある大浴場風な感じだと思いました。受付でタオルが借りられるので部屋からは手ぶらで行けるのは便利です。サウナは狭くて３名入れば満杯という感じ、内風呂は熱めとぬるめの２か所ありますが一番気にいったのは体温と同じ湯温３６度の寝湯です。熱くも無く寒くもないのでずっと浸かっていれて満足でした。 脱衣場はスポーツクラブのようなロッカーがあるのですが宿泊者が使用して良いのか分からなかったので脱衣籠利用で済ませました（これについての案内が無いのが不親切）。 時間帯によってはスポーツ合宿でここに宿泊していると思われる体育会系の若者が入浴していることもあり、その時には混雑します。 部屋のテレビで大浴場の混雑状況が確認できるシステムになっていますが常時男湯は少々混雑、女湯は空いているという表示でした、ドーミーインチェーンのホテルも同じようなシステムですがロッカーの鍵がかかっているかいないかで判別しているようなのですが、ここは大浴場受付のスタッフが目分量で混雑状況を判断して空き状況を決めてるようなのであまり当てにしない方が良いかもしれません。 ２連泊して朝食２回、夕食１回（いづれも別館１Fのバイキングレストラン）で済ませましたがこれぞという売りの１品が無かったのが残念なところです。１杯ずつ作るお茶器は良かったので売店でお土産に購入しました（朝食バイキングは２日共メニューは一緒でした） 食事をホテル外で取る場合は徒歩５分ぐらいのところに『いちにさん』という黒豚しゃぶしゃぶやとんかつなどがありました。当方は近くにあるイオン内のとんかつ店『竹亭』のとんかつが食べたかったのでレンタカーで行きテークアウトして部屋で食べました。イオンまでだと徒歩だと１５分ぐらいかかりそうだったので断念した為です。 尚、コンビニは徒歩５分ほどのところにローソンがあります。 もう少し街中の立地だったらホテル外の飲食店巡りも出来そうだった気がしてます。 鹿児島空港から近い観光地だと霧島温泉郷を選択しがちですがたまにはこのようなホテルに投宿してみるのも良い気がしました。 機会があればまたお世話になっても良いと思えるホテルでした。
