Kirishima Kokusai Hotel Reviews

Hot spring hotel in an area renowned for its hot springs. I deliberately chose the Japanese tatami-style to experience more of the local culture. As you can see from the photos, the view from my room was really nice! I also like the fact that both dinner and breakfast were included, as there isn't much around. Very comfortable stay overall, but mind you - the smell of sulphur (possibly?) from the hot springs is always there!

Great and serviceable. The location takes time to get to but you can manage a 40 minute bus ride it’s worth it. The water is so relaxing and the onsen is amazing to see. Great for families.

Very bad. The facilities are old. The food is bad. The room charged such price is not fair. Don’t book!

My sincerest gratitude to the professional service and helpfulness of the front desk staff in particular the Div. Manager, Mr. Atsuyoshi Kubota, who patiently search for available medical service during late hours for treating my wife's injury and also voluntarily arrange a staff to accompany us to the hospital. Ram Kumar, the accompanying staff, is instrumemental in our communication to the medical personnels and he is so kind to arrange late dinner for us at the hotel's discretion. They not only demonstrate the highest level of professionalism but also their genuine care of the well being of the customers. Once again, big big thanks to Mr. Kubota and his team of beautiful people. By the way, good breakfast and dinner, both in terms of the menu as well as service and venue.

It's a revamped hotel with new facilities! The tidiness and clean impressed me! The breakfast and dinner buffet were in good quality as well especially the beef. Highly recommend!

The exterior looks like a very old inn, my check-in time was around 4pm, I don't know why the room given to us was the end room, but there were still many people waiting in line at check-in, I don't know if we are not Japanese, so The room given to us did not have a view, not even some of the scenery, so the curtains did not need to be opened, dinner and breakfast, hot spring were fine, but the room was really too old, I looked at other rooms on the same floor, because of them Opening the door, their rooms are bright, seeing the scenery, compared to their own room is really bad, the door of other people's room is different from the door of our room, as if specially modified, our room door is Protruding, other people's room doors are not protruding, and we are the end room, this hotel is really a bit disappointed, a department room is decorated, we also see the hotel pictures to book, but to the hotel room is not pictures The same, no one is interested in even taking pictures😮💨

The first time I traveled to Kagoshima 12 years ago, I stayed at the Castle Hotel in Kirishima. This time I stayed at the "Kokusai". The "hot spring hotel"'s rule of including two meals saved us a lot of trouble. The hotel is only a ten-minute drive from Kirishima Shrine. There are few cars on the road. Driving on the rugged mountain road sheltered by the forest in the hot summer is cool and comfortable! Standing at the window and looking out at the Sakurajima volcano is a visual enjoyment. It only takes a quarter of an hour to drive from the hotel to the Takachiho Golf Course, the third-ranked golf course in Kagoshima Prefecture. The natural environment of the golf course is very good, and there are wild animals. The hotel facilities are relatively old; the hot springs are good, especially the sulfur hot springs. The environment is excellent. The service is in place.

The hotel is located near Kirishima Onsen Street. There are many parking lots and there are many options for staying and eating. The front desk staff is very polite and patiently answers questions.

位置於霧島溫泉街旁，附近有便利商店，前往鄰近景店，如霧島神話之里公園、霧島神宮、高千穗牧場及丸尾淹都只是10分鐘左右或以下既車程，酒店停車場更免費停泊，非常方便👍🏻 房間重新裝修，乾淨整潔👍🏻 今次訂了內附露天風呂房間，但原來風呂只係普通水，並非溫泉水，酒店內既商店及附近溫泉街商店都冇湯花售賣，非常可惜😞 結果我地揸車去左附近另一間酒店買湯花浸溫泉😏 但房間望出去風景宜人，非常舒適👍🏻 是次為生日正日入住，酒店亦無任何既祝福，即使自助晚餐時，我地已自行準備生日祝賀，但酒店職員就算看見亦沒有任何祝福，有點欠缺親切感，相比其他酒店較為冷漠。 設施方面，酒店很多地方略舊，但陸續將進行不同裝修，包括公共溫泉♨️，故硬件上仍然滿意呢間酒店👍🏻 推薦👍🏻

The price/performance ratio is good, two meals are included, the location is a bit remote, and you can basically only play in the hotel after 5pm. The room and hot spring are large and comfortable, the food is good, and most of the people are locals.

The hotel is so big. From check-in to check-out, I didn't feel like I was being served. You have to pay coins for the welcome drink, and you can drag your luggage with you. Maybe it's a consecutive holiday in Japan. There are so many people. Breakfast and dinner are buffets. , it can be said that you have to grab it. The hot spring is not bad, especially the open-air one. One thing is very important. The WiFi in the hotel cannot be used. I don’t know if there are more people staying there, so there are more people using it. Anyway, I stayed for one day. I didn’t feel relaxed even after I came down.

The room and the hot spring are both very satisfying. The milky white hot spring in Kirishima is really beautiful, and the open-air hot spring is also very intoxicating. The downside is that if I eat a buffet for dinner, there are too many people and not enough dishes. After dinner, I went out for a walk. Although Kirishima is really small and there are few restaurants, there are also a few good ones. There are many dishes for breakfast, but there were too many people on the day I went there, and I had to queue.

The front desk needs to pay 150 yuan/day hot spring tax. The room is very good. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs, and you can also experience hot spring mud. You can eat free popsicles after soaking.
