First, we loved the onsen and its services, where we soaked in three pools of different temperatures, sweated in a sauna, then alternately cooled ourselves in cold baths.
Second, room services were excellent despite its furnishings seemed to be run down a bit.
Third, its location is central to travel most places of interest, which spreads out in Kagoshima Prefecture.

Hotel Kyocera is probably one of the largest hotel in Kirishima. It has two buildings ( main and annex) and looks quite good architecturally. They are connected by a bridge on the 3 floor which has the walking escalator- and a display of the various places that have been listed as world heritage sites in Japan.
Inside the main building, there is a glass church which is ideal for weddings. In the basement, there is a large onsen, and spa. It is certainly a good place for having a holiday. The overall condition of the rooms are good- and the rooms are of good size. My room faces the East and has a perfect view of sunrise!
There are two large parking lot and parking is free.

The hotel is very big. The rooms in the main building should have been renovated. There is a strong decoration smell that lasted all night. The room is relatively large, the bathroom has not been renovated, and the facilities are old. The bathhouse hot spring is not very big, with three small pools. The service is average. They asked me to check some information myself. There is a glass church on the third floor, which is quite unique.
