Lifthotel

Stayed here ,early May.....National Holidays.....nice clean hotel,friendly staff & good food.....although not very large portions.No entertainment,weather good so sat outside & enjoyed the free bar......Great location....all in all pretty good

Stayed in the Lifthotel in Kirchberg. Room was fantastic and all the staff very efficient and friendly. Area is absolutely stunning. Definitely a trip up Kitsbhule Horn on the gondola a must, also the swimming lake!!

Did on a coach trip, quite late arriving but a meal waiting for us cases taken to our room, good size room but bed very low and soft did not do back etc very good,no kettle etc so take travel one and tea coffee bags can get milk from restaurant, food good selection but starters help your self ,salad is just salad soup tasty, main meal you order for next day , not a problem . Breakfast even if you went down as soon as served not hot egg and bacon or Continental , we found best thing to do was make toast and do egg and bacon sandwich take fly squatter with you as flys are a pain, In evening no entertainment but as a group when weather nice sat out side made our own and if rained they gave us a room we could all sit in . Ab 10 mins walk from village don’t walk by road use river path , would stay again

First time skiing in Austria, Kirchberg is beautiful this hotel is v spacious dining area breakfast and dinner was very organised and lots of options. Staff very friendly and attentive. The reception area is quite small though staff very friendly. Unfortunately no fire ever was lit !! Rooms are very basic but we what we expect they were clean and bathroom area seem quite new - sink outside of shower/toilet area is a minus but we got over it ! I’m used to ski in/ski out so having to bus it each day was a bit of a minus but soon got used to it the bus stops just outside hotel and bus goes every 40mins roughly from the Fleckennahn Gondola coming off the mountain to take us back to hotel. All in all very pleasant stay tho I miss my ski in ski out chalets!!

Location - good Room- pro's reasonable size,cleaned daily. Shower good, no bath.Bed adequate. Cons- TV but not one English channel.No tea/coffee making in room. Food -very average. We had day trips every day so a 'packed lunch 'was provided. This was awful. A dry bread roll with a slice of ham and cheese, bottle of water an apple and a biscuit..There was limited choice with food and drinks. Would not recommend

The room was nice, and the bathroom very modern with nice design. Nice walk into Kirchberg by foot - not too far. Average service in reception and restaurant, with the exception of a very young very nice receptionist who was very proactive and serviceminded. There was also a nice wellness area in the basement. However, we had dinner and breakfast included, and the food was not good at all. Very crowded and noisy restaurant, buffet style dinner, and by neither look or taste I was able to know what I was eating. And I am not picky. In Austria, we have otherwise only experienced high quality food so this was a first.
