I stayed for a brief overnight stop with my 11 year old daughter. the staff were friendly and welcoming and couldn't have done more to help. Dinner was excellent. They helped me with the electric car charger and made us bacon rolls to take with us in the morning, as we left before breakfast opened. Clean, comfortable room, nice shower. Highly recommend.

Wonderful, welcoming pub/restaurant/hotel. The accommodation is beautifully decorated, impeccably kept, neat and tidy. We found the beds to be super comfortable and we very much enjoyed a good night’s sleep. The bathrooms too were wonderfully spacious, and we were grateful of the lovely toiletries supplied. The pub and restaurant were equally impressive. The local beers were very much enjoyed. The wine list was perfect with just the right amount of choice. The menu and food are perfect. Good portions and cooked beautifully. Breakfast was great, homely, and thoroughly enjoyed. All the staff are lovely, helpful and attentive. Will defiantly be visiting again.

Another reliably pleasant stay at the Crown and Garter in Inkpen. The rooms are always cosy and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are always on hand. Food is extremely good and freshly cooked. My wife and I visit family in the area and the Crown and Garter is almost worth the trip on its own.! Easy to find and park. Thank you C&G.

This was our second visit to this lovely pub with rooms. Friendly knowledgeable staff again and comfy bed in a well appointed room with great ensuite facilities. . . Quality food from the kitchen. . . Good local beer on the bar. . . Very happy with our stay. . .

How an inn should be! The bar/restaurant area is amazing, seems newly refurbished so it's a nice place to be. Staff were delightful and engaging, plus the amazing food (quality over quantity) but still great. Can't fault anything really - will be visiting again

Perfect in every way! The location, the staff, the food and the finishing touches in the room were exceptional. Faultless! We went for a weekend with friends and we were made to feel so welcome. Breakfast choices were good, evening meal choices as well. Highly recommended for a quiet relaxing time away.

We love the Crown and Garter where we stay each time we visit our grandchildren.The assistant manageress is superb and this is reflected with how the staff run this charming pub with rooms. The restaurant serves good locally sourced food and excellent breakfasts which you enjoy after a great nights sleep in the very comfortable en-suite rooms which are clean and individually designed. Highly recommend!
