The city of Kinshasa in general suffers from a lack of electricity in stifling humid heat. I went to Kin for a mourning stay and I didn't have time to appreciate it. Mike gave me a large room clean and comfortable with TV and Fridge. The employers are jovial. Mike himself is a fantastic gentleman. He has a mid-day club that throws you Rhumba galore. It's okay.

I regret booking this hotel. As soon as we arrived at 1:30 p.m., the room was not open even though we should have had possession of it since noon, but the very rude owner took the liberty of telling us: "leave my house if you are not agreement" and this in the middle of the street in front of passers-by, without even taking the trouble to seat us and yet he knew very well that I had no way of getting reimbursed. In addition he has a great complex as he knows how to speak English instead of answering me in French which he knows quite well, he gave himself the luxury of answering in English in a French-speaking country finally to make people believe that he is intelligent. For nothing in the world I would recommend this hotel to anyone, not even my worst enemy.
