Pleasantly surprised. Rooms were spacious and clean. Check in and check out was a breeze. Hotel is located right next to the retail park. Breakfast buffet was very affordable with a great selection too.

Just a quick stop over on my own. The room was very clean. The hotel was quiet and not too busy. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. There was also plenty of parking. Efficient and quick check in, check out. I recommend this place.

Friendly & welcoming staff. Room was clean with everything we needed for our 1 night stay. Bed & linen very comfortable. BUT the room was too warm & we just couldn't get it to cool down even with the window open & portable fan running. The hotel feels about ready for an upgrade but actually fine for 1 night

Stayed here a few times but this was the first time with our 8 month old. The cot provided had no mattress at all (images attached) and when I asked at the desk, the staff agreed it wasn’t the best and couldn’t do anything to assist. The mattress that was provided was just the lining on the bottom of a travel cot with a bed sheet over the top (basically wooden plates with no padding). The room had someone else’s sock on the floor when we arrived, as if the room was not even cleaned properly. The kettle was broken with metal pieces inside, which was not helpful as we needed to provide bottles ready for our baby. After coming back to the hotel later on for our second night, our card stopped working and we couldn’t get into our room. There was a queue at the reception desk with other issues occurring. So this delayed us more to get our key card sorted. All of this wouldn’t have been much of an issue but we were here for 2 nights for £156. Very unhappy with our stay here and would not recommend staying if you have a baby with you.

I loved the service I received tonight. I stay away often with work and tonight I didn’t want for anything. Every time I was close to finishing a drink another appeared; the food arrived promptly and was well cooked and of good quality; and the staff were friendly, bantery and good fun. Clearly a well managed hotel and restaurant. Bravo.

Clean room, although did have a slight damp smell when we walked in. The shower is quite weak and took ages to rinse out shampoo! I slept reasonably well but woke to the sound of a busy road nearby. It was a convenient stopover for the visit we made to family. Nobody on the desk in the morning and left keys in a drop box. I don’t think I will stay again as have stayed in better places locally for same price. Positives: the lady on the desk at checkin was very friendly and the room was big. It had everything we needed apart from an iron. Right next to a retail park and Beefeater for breakfast next door (untested)
