After a three-hour journey with a newborn and a seven-year-old, we arrived at the hotel reception, only to find no one there. After calling the given number three times, someone finally picked up and told us to wait. Eventually, a staff member arrived and assigned us room 201. However, when we entered the room, it had a foul odor, was disorganized, and there were dirty tissues scattered on the floor, along with a dirty toilet. We went back down to complain, but the receptionist was absent again. After waiting some more, we were given another room. 1. The new room was acceptable, but the carpet was filthy. 2. There was no hairdryer in the bathroom, which is unusual for even standard hotels. 3. We had breakfast, but once it was served in the restaurant, no one replenished the items, leading to many missing dishes from the menu—a disappointment. Travelodge should be ashamed to offer such service, especially when their rates are comparable to those of Hilton. It's disgraceful!
