Endeavour Lodge

We were met at the airport by Jaylee from Endeavour Lodge who drove us to our accommodation. Driving through Burnt Pine she pointed out various locations of interest eg. RSL, medical, cafes etc. Arriving at the unit she also gave us the rundown of the place,a dedicated mobile phone to make dinner reservations, snorkels/beach towels/picnic blanket/ binoculars etc.etc. Our pre-booked car ( also booked through Endeavour Lodge) was parked at our unit which was comforting because, even though Norfolk is only approx. 8x5kms, you really need a vehicle to get around also the island itself is quite hilly. We loved our unit ( no.1) with great views out to the Nepean & Phillip islands. Each morning we sat out on the verandah/balcony drinking coffee & watching the white terns , dozens of them, flying in & out of the pine trees. Our bed was extremely comfortable & the bathroom was spacious with a strong hot shower & above average fixtures & fittings. The whole place was immaculately clean. All in all a wonderful experience run by friendly, professional people, a shout out especially to Jaylee who answered all of our questions in a friendly, patient manner. We will definitely be returning to Norfolk next year & definitely staying ,once again,at Endeavour Lodge.

Relaxing, clean, well appointed. The hosts had thought of everything you needed for a week or longer stay. Comfortable King size beds plenty of storage and hanging space, plenty of powerpoints and usb charging points. The bathroom was roomy with washing machine, clothesline walk in shower, great ventilation and hairdryer etc. just to make you feel at home. The well appointed kitchen was easy to use and a full size fridge provided. Another thoughtful touch was a prepaid mobile fully charged with $5 credit to get you started plus tea, coffee and milk. The back balcony view was a lush tropical oasis followed by the ocean, Nepean and Philip Islands. Stepping out the front was another ocean view. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Endeavour Lodge and it would be our first choice on a return visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - friendly and helpful service when we arrived at the airport to when we left. Gorgeous property that gave off good vibes and beautiful ocean views everyday. The cabin had everything we needed for travelling with a child and we loved the home-grown bananas! The common area is well stocked with DVDs, card games, pool noodles and snorkelling gear. Would love to return when we have a chance! Thank you!

Endeavour Lodge was a nice place to stay. Nothing is too far away, but you need a motor vehicle to get anywhere. People did say to us, that you don't need to hire a car, but, really the island is bigger than within walking distance to everything. If we didn't have a vehicle, we wouldn't have seen all we did.

Endeavour Lodge -unwind and enjoy Norfolk Island We had a fabulous stay and enjoyed how there was no stress as were picked up from the airport, had offer of car hire that meant we had a car waiting once arrived at Endeavour Lodge. We had a great sea view and the facilities were excellent. Everything we needed to cook and store food was provided ((more than most places tend to offer). You can tell they have been in the tourism business for years as have thought of everything. Leaving a mobile for use if needed and a departure lounge for their guests in town whilst you wait for your flight home after check-out.

Excellent view. Well equipped. Everything needed for a short stay was provided including picnic baskets!
