Location is far from Hobart city, need your own vechile and no desk service available.
Also no drinking water provided separately.

In a good spot for buses to and from Hobart. Had plenty of parking for those with cars. TV left a lot to be desired, ie had sound but rarely picture. Heating worked well. Shower was good. Easy to hear those outside but as they tend to be trades persons they go to bed early, during the week. Bed was comfortable; small bar fridge but adequate for my needs; microwave and water jug worked well. Five minute walk from Coles and about 10 minutes to Woolworths. Have stayed there a few times and I keep coming back, especially with Trip.com prices.

Motel level, large rooms, parking at the door, suitable for self-driving travel. There are supermarkets and restaurants within a few minutes' walk, and it takes about 8 minutes to drive to the center of Hobart.

I was very happy with my stay here.  Check-in was a little confusing as one checks-in at the old hotel, not where the accommodation is located, so there is a bit of a walk to find where to check-in.  Room was huge and the shower was very spacious.  The only complaint I will make as it looked like my room (13) may not have been vacuumed (corn chip under the bed and hair, which was not mine, on the floor near the bathroom.)  I didn't see a hairdryer, but had brought my own anyway.  I got the last car park and am not sure if the parking spots outside the rooms are designated car parking for the hotel guests, or if anyone is able to use them (there are a few other shops close by.)

We booked last minute through *********** but inadvertently booked for the following night! We arrived in pouring rain after hours, to find no key and the hotel itself closed. But...a phone call to our hosts and the whole debacle was sorted, they found us a room, and brought the key in the pouring rain (twice!). We couldn't fault the room or the extra effort required to ensure we had a room for the night! We'll definitely be back!

My gf and I recently stayed here and it was a nice clean room. Was very spacious and had everything a traveler would need for amenities. The only thing that we didn’t like was that the restaurant and reception were fairly far away in a separate building. Besides that I don’t have any other complaints.
