Distressed property. Everything seem to be broken or work poorly. Screens bebt and broken. TV quite damaged. Had to try to get it to work ourselves and it was very time consuming. Sinking drain stuck in closed position . Phone completely broken had to diconnect it just to stop the busy signal from interrupting our sleep..The whole place seemed to be disheveled

Let’s start with the good stuff. The staff was friendly and helpful, and housekeeping was excellent. My room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. There was an in-room coffee maker that made decent coffee (but I put in very little water to make it strong). The property itself is just outside of town, but feels distant, and nothing seems walkable. The building is old and badly in need of updating, both inside and out. There weren’t a dozen cars in the parking lot but one door had a sign declaring no vacancy. To be honest, it didn’t feel quite safe. Okay for a quick stop (it’s very near the highway) as a single guy, but I would hesitate to recommend for families.

The motel was adjacent to a walking/biking trail. However, I had to be moved to another room when I discovered that the faucet popped off when I raise the lever for the shower. The room I was moved to was nicer, but it had a toilet that had trouble with flushing. All during this, the staff, namely Dennis and Miguel did their best to make my stay less bizarre.

I had a reservation and I went to check in at 5:30 and was told no room available. Owner manager said go somewhere else.

We arrived the evening before our daughter’s graduation and were told that “a reservation didn’t mean a room was saved for us”. After confirming that our reserved room had been given away, we went back to our vehicle to search for another hotel. The manager followed us to the parking lot, yelling and threatening us, all the while waving his lit cigarette around. My 91 year old father was extremely disturbed by this encounter.

We waited for 30 minutes to check in since several others seemed to be having difficulty and frustrations in their check in process. We were finally assigned a room, but discovered that our shower did not work. We were told that we would have to wait for about 30 minutes to get a room with a working shower. Two hours went by, and I tried several times to ask about their progress, but I was told that they were very busy with other customers and to go back to my room. The manager had my sympathy initially, but he quickly turned on me with snide comments and completely unprofessional behavior, telling me that he would solve my problem, "in 15 minutes or maybe two hours, but that it might take three hours," if "I stood in front of him instead of going back to my room so he could work." Lots more We decided we absolutely had to leave and find another hotel.
