We stayed in the middle of a two day trip to Kangaroo Island. We had a great room with direct beach view rooms. The restaurant was very good with excellent food and great service. (Somehow they seemed to have solved the covid staff shortage we've encountered elsewhere and they were not using it as an excuse for a limited menu). The staff person running the restaurant would put a few 5 stars to shame. We would recommend this hotel - we don't understand the several rather negative reviews on Trip Advisor - certainly we and others we were travelling with thought the whole experience was great.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was fantastic for our family of 4. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable (especially the beds). We loved that we had cooking facilities available to use, however when it came to cleaning the dishes there was no dish rack to put the dishes to dry or no steel wool (or other appropriate cloth) to properly clean pots and pans. Also another important thing to note is that the 2 bedroom apartment is on the 2nd floor and is accessed up a flight of stairs. This wasn't an issue for us, but could be an issue for those that have trouble with stairs. The location of the apartment was fantastic. It was right across the road from the Tidal pool which our kids loved. And it was walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay at this accommodation again should be ever come back to Kangaroo Island
