I requested a pick-up service to the accommodation on Trgp.com, but it never came. It seems that communication with the accommodation was not going well. I think the accommodation itself is very good in that jungle. Meeting animals is down to luck.

We stayed here for two nights as part of an organised tour. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms good. Restaurant area is very sociable with people all mixing, food was a bit basic but there was plenty to choose from. Lots of activities to choose from, we went out several times on the boat and saw loads of birds and monkeys

The rooms were cute and clean. A bar fridge would have been good. Some repairs to walkways is needed. Dining area fun and great outlook over the river. Food simple but adequate. Bit sparce on liquid refreshment, especially alcohol. Could be a bit cramped if all room full! Others in our group had room issues, but we loved it!!

Felt like a tourist factory. You won’t feel like you are in the wilderness here as there’s over 100 people at the accommodation and unless you are on a special tour (eg organised by g-adventures) you’ll be on a boat with about 25 other people. No major issues, rooms were basic but clean, food was fine but not great. Mainly I wasn’t prepared for how large scale the production was. If I had my time again I would definitely recommend staying somewhere smaller. Because the boat trips were so big could be basically impossible to hear the guide above the motor and only some guides seemed actually interested in explaining anything. Others hardly said a word the whole time. Still did see really cool wildlife, just would have been nice to not be packed in

Exceeded our expectations, accomodation and food excellent! They were able to provide vegetarian options ! Our guide Rondel was amazing we saw everything including elephants, orangutan, crocodiles, proboscis monkey, monkeys, otters, hornbills and many other birds- so good do every river cruise as we saw different animal on each trip - amazing! did the two night three day stay in a delux cabin.

When we first arrived we were disappointed by all the palm oil plantations before the resort. We soon put at ease by the amazing staff and their obvious love for the jungle and the animals in the surrounding area. Our guide Rondel (not sure of the spelling) was fantastic, very safe and passionate about his job, he has significant experience in the area and it showed. We saw far more than we ever expected, don’t miss any of the river cruises, they are all different and all see different animals. The accommodation was more than suitable and made you feel apart of the jungle with the occasional monkey running across your roof and the trumpeting of bull elephants in the middle of the night adding to the experience. Food was very good and plentiful. Don’t go as a tour group, book directly with the resort you will be better looked after.

We had a great experience at the BNSBR. The first thing I have to mention is our boat guide, Rodel. He was absolutely amazing! He was determined for us to see Pygmy elephants. He took us miles down the river in order to find them. When he did find them, it was wonderful! There were about 6 elephants of different ages. So serene. It was a real privilege to see these wonderful animals. Rodel also had fantastic and extensive knowledge of the wildlife and jungle. We spotted 4 of the Bornean big 5, everything but orangutans but we have seen many of them in the wild in Sumatra. With regards to the accommodation… it is basic and the rooms are quite small. We had a deluxe triple and it was in a building with two other family rooms. You could hear everything from the other rooms, the walls are very thin layer of wood. So bring ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones. In my opinion, the food was plentiful and delicious. There was a good variety, no one is going hungry in Borneo Natural Sukau Billit. There is WiFi, which surprised us but you have to pay a small fee per device. As I said, the accommodation is basic but when you think about the cost (approx £120 per person for 3D2N), it’s very reasonable. Within that, you have breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, 6 river cruises, jungle trek, transfers to and from airport/Sepilok area. So you can’t really complain. If you want a more luxurious option, then you have to pay the price.

We booked the 3D2N Jungle tour and had the best experience. The dorm room was great and facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff were super friendly and the food was amazing (I am vegetarian and was really impressed by the variety on offer!). We were lucky enough to spot all of the Borneo big 5- a big shout out to our guide Rodel who helped make this happen. Rodel’s knowledge and passion for nature is truly inspiring! 10/10 would recommend!
