Pros: Location good,,Staff is friendly...process of booking easy..
cons: no landline phones in the room.. The towels are not very clean (at least to my standard), and some towels are torn... Cleaning stuff doesn't really clean the room when you are still living there(or that was my experience).... no toothbrush in the rooms. The worst hotel experience I (Personally) have ever been for a 4 STAR hotel..
so, it doesn't deserve to be a 4 star hotel (For me)..

Unfortunately very disappointed in our rooms. Very strong smell of cigarets, carpets sticky, furniture very second hand with the exception of the beds which were new and comfortable. The bathrooms only just passed with black mould along the tiles, toilet seat broken and very minimal pressure in the shower. I think if you were lucky enough to stay in one of the new rooms it would be better. Tiles broken everywhere in walkways and the main entrance. This should not be advertised as luxury if all rooms are not up to standard. The hotels only saving grace is the excellent pub next door “The Hussar Grill” which offered a very extensive menu

I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms have no window or ventilation. Maintenance is lacking, door handles broken etc. The rooms lead onto a very noisy passage, guests arrive late making a noise, limited privacy, thin walls ? We really did not enjoy our stay as a family of 5. Reviews are mixed, I did check before booking, I knew there was risk it would disappoint, and it did. The night watchman was good, did his job well.

My go to accommodation place when it comes to Traveling to Kimberley. It's my home away from home and all the staff members and owner makes you feel at home. Great service and a few restaurants on premises to choose from for dinner when staying there.

It's disappointing too drive a long road and arrive and find the hotel entrance is over a 100 meters round the corner with no information. It's a beautiful place on first sight. Rooms are beautiful and big. Just 'a pity there are no work station to work on. If you have to work on a computer it's not easy sitting on the bed. Was disappointed to see a 4 star hotel with no flat sheet on the bed. Was also very disappointed the next morning to see the state of the wall in front of my room. Paint / plaster coming off. The garden also can do with some cleaning up. Also a very bad smell coming from the shower drain. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bed in the room was very comfortable. The extraction fan in the bathroom makes a lot of noise when putting it on and off. Cleaning staff need some training. Lots of dust in the room. With seating outside your bathroom window you have lot's of noise as well. Not great rooms by reception. Management need to catch a wake up
