We had a great stay. Very friendly staff, very helpful and they did there best to make us feel welcomed and to enjoy our stay. I would highly recommend a stay here. I would recommend a room at the back if your not use to traffic noise. We enjoyed a full English breakfast and the evening meal was excellent.

Exceptional food and service and really lovely, atmospheric pub. Best of all, the staff are really lovely.. my little girl left her bag behind and they posted it to us (we aren’t local) and wouldn’t take any payment for the postage. Brilliant experience and can’t wait to go back.

We had such a wonderful trip. They upgraded our rooms as we were basically the only guests there for no extra cost which was so lovely of them. And the rooms were beautiful! The couple who owned it couldn’t have been nicer. Had really lovely chats and they told us some great walking routes and places to visit. Plus they make a mean breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay there again no question!!

Fantastic pub with rooms, very comfy bedroom, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Landlord was super hospitable and food for both dinner & breakfast was excellent.... no where to hide with steak & chips, mine was cooked to perfection with a delicious home made Bernaise

The food here is amazing from the presentation to the taste. The staff were all so attentive, quick to take our drink and food orders. Always checking in on us. We booked last minute and they managed to squeeze us in but please book in advance as a very popular place. I wish we didn’t live 3 hours away!

Stopped in without a booking en route home from Minehead. They were obviously busy given it was a Friday night but couldn’t have been more accommodating and found us a table within minutes of ordering drinks. We were advised there might be a wait for food as they had a large group in who’d just ordered but our orders were taken quickly and I’ve waited much longer in far less busy establishments! The food and service was absolutely lovely and we’d definitely return. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Can not fault! Amazing! Food delicious, staff really friendly, knowledgeable on the food. Not just dog friendly, but they actively make your dogs feel welcome, and the pub is set out perfectly for dog owners so they can enjoy a meal knowing their dogs don't bother others. I'm 100% visiting again.

A very friendly country pub in a lovely location that does really superb food. We both had different fish dishes; both were cooked beautifully with fresh local ingredients and tasted delicious. The cheesecake was to die for! One of the best pub meals had in a long time. Will definitely return the next time we're in Somerset.
