The Inn recently changed ownership so the restaurant was only open for dinner and the property doesn't have a liquor license yet. The 2 women running the front desk were very professional and extremely pleasant to deal with. My room had a terrific bed and linens (seemed new), a flat screen TV, nice bath, and private deck. No problem getting ice delivered to the room. Breakfast was excellent. Our golfing group all had a very restful, quiet night and can't wait to return.

It was a five experience minus a few minor amenities for weary off season travelers. The host/owner Paul was personable, warm and welcoming and shared stories about the origin of the inn. We regretted not staying for Paul’s home breakfast!

One of the strangest stays at a hotel I've ever had. I arrived with my teenage son at 10:45PM, we had called to say we would be arriving late, to find multilpe other guests waiting for their rooms to be ready. The owner, who appears to be the only staff member, was busy cleaning the rooms. When he showed us to our room, that was ready, he showed us many features, turned on the heat, how to use the TV remote and that we would need to run the water for 15 minutes to get hot water. The room never got warm, the heating system made noises all night long, the TV didn't work at all, the bathroom vent was incredible loud and the water was YELLOW. When we left in the morning, we again found the owner, now the chef cooking breakfast in the restaurant. The beds were very comfortable, that is the one positive I can give. He definitly needs to hire more staff and make some improvements for the amount he charges.

The place was sufficient, with great common space. However, management is not the most efficient. We arrived at 5:30m and we could not check in (check-in should have started @ 2pm). We understand that there was staff cancellation, but there was no notification about the delay, and no effort made to make people comfortable while waiting for their rooms. (How hard is it to put some tea/hot chocolate out to make people feel welcome and warm them up while they are waiting on their rooms, sweaty from skiing?) We had to convince the manager to let us shower and change so we could go to our room. When we arrived back to the hotel at 9:30, our bed was made, but the room was not cleaned. It was not cleaned the following day either. Definitely not worth the money they charged us. While the location is great, I would wait some time till they figure their business out and not stay there for a while.

This was one of the strangest hotel experiences we have ever had. My husband and I booked this the night of 2/3/24 since our preferred inn was full. Checking in we found only 1 man - Paul - working. From other reviews it seems he is the new owner and only staff. He was immediately overwhelmed when 2 more guests arrived to check in - asked them to wait in the common room. He checked us in but had to “check the room” before we could see it. I asked about ice and he said he would have to make it. We later discovered we had 2 bath towels but no washcloths or hand towels and no drink cups. Paul was no where to be found. The advertised restaurant and bar were not open. Heading out to dinner we met other guests who had been waiting in lobby for several hours to check in - he had gone to clean their rooms and could not be found. We were nervous all evening about being able to get back in our own room when we returned, wondering if something happened to Paul and we would be asked to leave by local authorities! Room was clean but walls thin we could hear conversations next door. Paul was no where to be found in the morning and we were more than happy to get out of there.

The Inn was well furnished and the rooms were clean and up to date. The common areas were great, with a big fireplace & big screen TV, plus a player piano! I loved the nostalgic ski posters from days past. Nice breakfast in a dining room with a great view. Paul was a fun host, very personable, and he made sure we had everything we needed. All in all a great stay!

DO NOT STAY HERE. Went with my boyfriend, sister and her boyfriend, all 25+ years old. Got a room with 2 queen beds just to crash after skiing Saturday. owner, Paul would not let us check in because he does not allow more than 2 people to a room. We were left with no where to go and had to drive 4 hours home. And to make matters worse now will not give us a refund. He argued with us while we were there continues to yell and argue on the phone. Your money will be better spent somewhere else.
