If you are thinking to go to visit Killarney, the Old Weir Lodge is a great place to stay. Believe me! I am writing to express my utmost satisfaction and appreciation for the exceptional customer service and management provided at Old Weir Lodge. I had to book with short notice my accommodation and I manage this with them easily, and very welcome and well worth it way. They have a lovely breakfast, with an amazing apple muffins, one of the best I have tried. Delicious!!! Rachel and Maura (I hope not spelling wrong Maura’s name) are experts to help you out with the best menu suggestions or if you have any dietary restrictions, like myself, I am a gluten free customer. The room is very comfortable and the receptions they attentiveness have truly left a lasting impression on me. They provide a map of Killarney with good recommendations to places to visit and restaurants to have a taste meal. I do recommend them! Absolutely wonderful and great location. ★ ★ ★ ★★ Jackie Costa

Very happy with our stay here. A warm welcome, large attractive room at a very reasonable price. Great choice for breakfast and very tasty. Also great location, minutes walk from town. Exceptional value in such a central location. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly staff, they gave great recommandations. Rooms were very nice and big, also very clean. Breakfast was also very good, they had everything you could wish for. Ofcourse we had the traditional Irish breakfast :). A 10 minute walk brought you to the center of Killarney. Overall very nice stay, would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely brilliant. Far better than some 4* hotels. Everything about Old Weir Lodge was excellent. Location, parking, bedroom, lounges and the breakfasts were amazing. All staff so friendly and sincere. Would highly recommend it. Hopefully will return next year.

What a great stay at Old Weir Lodge. I can't recommend it highly enough. The generous breakfast, the great hospitality, the large rooms and easy to use car park. We were walking distance to the town but could get in and out of town easily and into the park in 10 minutes!

Excellent hotel in Muckross Road within walking distance to town. High standard of housekeeping evident throughout entire hotel. Professional approach to running this business. Excellent breakfast and everything runs very smoothly.

Lovely hotel close to town center. Spacious family room with large bathroom. Very friendly and helpful at the front desk. Very clean and charming accommodations. We enjoyed the breakfast! We would definitely stay here again. It was a great home base to explore the Ring of Kerry and National Park!

-parking right in front of the hotel -can easily walk into town -large family room but traffic noise at night - needed to close the windows -trouble with WLAN in the hotel room depending on where I was sitting. -great bfast with very friendly and cheerful service ladies

Enjoyed wonderful breakfast and service. Our stay was comfortable and clean. We were close to shops and restaurants as it was walkable yet far enough away to be quieter than in center of town. Our room was clean and well maintained. Would recommend staying here.
