We could not be happier with our choice to stay at Old Weir Lodge. From the minute we walked in, we felt like we were home. The room was spacious and comfortable - we got the family room which was perfect for our 12 and 14 year old - they each had their own single bed. Niall, Linda and Noreen were so helpful the 3 days we were there, that the kids wished we could stay longer in the small town. The lodge is a 5-10 minute walk into the center of town, and 5 minutes from the National Park. You will not regret staying at Old Weir Lodge and visiting Killarney. We will definitely be back.

We were on a family trip and stayed at the hotel for two nights. And got a very nice and large room with comfortable beds and nice decor. great area and free parking. The breakfast was great and the service was fantantic. Can only recommend and will definitely stay there next time we are nearby.

Lovely place to stay and wonderful staff. The rooms were nice, clean and bright. The staff at breakfast were so courteous and inclusive. The location made the stay so accessible to the town. It all summed up to a great 2 nights stay.

We loved our time at the Old Weir Lodge. Everybody was warm and helpful. The quality and the variety of the breakfast choices was very good (our children especially loved the hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows). The room was nice and clean. We were comfortable and happy and had a good gome base for our adventures in and around Killarney.

We stayed in a family room and our stay was perfect. The inn is truly a 10-15 minute walk into town on the main road. Lots of people walking so we felt completely safe doing it. Breakfast is included and was wonderful each day. There is a cold bar as well as being able to order from the menu. The food came out quickly too. Our stay couldn’t have been better!

We really enjoyed our stay over the bank holiday weekend. We were warmly greeted, and check-in process was very easy. The decor is a little on the dated side, but the important stuff - like comfort of bed, and cleanliness were top notch. And the breakfast was lovely. Lots to choose from and the warm food was delicious. Staff were so accommodating and kind. There is plenty of onsite parking which was also appreciated. Perfect launch spot to explore all that county Kerry has to offer!! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel, and would book again if in the area.

I loved my stay here. The rooms were spacious enough. The lift was large enough to get our luggage into without several trips. The breakfast was great. The concierge was attentive to our needs. It was really clean and beautiful. The lodge is a couple of blocks from downtown Killarney. There were convenience stores nearby. It did not have a laundry but did have a drop-off service that you could utilize. There were washing machines and dryers within walking distance to do your own laundry.I would stay here again.

My Friends and I,stayed here for the June bank holiday,as the bikefest was on,in the INEC Glen eagle,which is only 5 minute walk from the old weir lodge,which perfectly situated, I must say we had a perfect stay,the hospitality shown,by each employee and owners,was brillant,and 1st class,would highly recommend this place to anyone,and would definitely stay here again. Rooms are excellent Service is prompt and friendly 5 star 🌟
