My wife and I were looking for a quiet place to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, and this place definitely fit the bill. With a private entrance into a beautiful lush backyard and patio complete with local island plants and flowers, including low hanging papaya. The daily continental breakfast was all that we needed, and featured freshly grown fruit. The room is quaint and comfortable with a private bathroom. We never actually saw or met the owners, so its about as private as you can get!. This was our first trip to Maui, and in hindsight, we were glad we chose the Kihei area. Centrally located on the island, the little beach town features all of amenities you'd want, including sandy beaches, good snorkeling, and nice restaurants, and is only 20 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Wailea, and 30 minutes from the crowded Kaanapali and Lahaina areas.
