This is one of the best hotels in all of Kigali. It's a boutique hotel with special charm, wonderful service, beautiful design, and amazing staff. We only stayed one night, but enjoyed every moment of it. Here are our hot tips: Get a room with the outdoor shower. The massage was one of the best we have ever had (she is an artist of deep tissue). The restaurant is where guests from other hotels come because the food is that good.

Excelent hotel, excelent staff, great food, great selections of wine. Is more a resort in the city of Kigali, was a great experience. We had villa no 6, pool vila, 125sqm, exceptional. Would like to mention from Staff Happines and Prince. Thank you.

Absolute luxury. We have never felt so relaxed. We all got 1 hour messages which were the best we ever had. Wonderful staff available to answer any questions and make sure we feel at home. So clean. Great food and drinks. They made everything easy from check in to check out. We cannot wait to come back.

This is one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed! Beautiful property, amazing food, fun activities, gorgeous rooms and the most incredible, friendly staff. Everyone is always smiling and looks thrilled to be a part of the team. We did not want to leave! There is a nice gym, saltwater pool and expert masseuses. There are lots of thoughtful touches like local fruit and a top notch espresso maker in the room. If you go, don’t miss the activities! We did a market visit, city walk, cocktail class, banana wine making, and cooking class. It was a great opportunity to learn about local culture and history with local people. I can’t wait to go back!

Excellent welcome and a great start to any trip to Rwanda. Boutique feel but high end, attentive staff and great food. For those wanting to use the gym it has everything and a wonderful complementary massage for your start. King Charles and Queen Camilla stayed here on 2022… so it says it all.

We stayed here for two nights before heading up to Volcanoes National Park to go Gorilla trekking. We had a terrific stay. The room was very comfortable and very clean and the staff was lovely. Very friendly and very hospitable. They have a nice bar and a good breakfast. Nina the hotel manager was terrific and Janet, one of the massage therapists, was wonderful. I had one of the best massages ever. The retreat was a great place to stay and I highly recommend when visiting Kigali.

We had a lovely stay, the staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities and restaurant ( heaven ) were great - the retreat restaurant was ok and had a more African style menu but the food and ambience are nowhere near as nice as Heaven. Only downside was that we were in a Villa that had a plunge pool and outside shower but recent and ongoing construction of a multi storey building directly behind meant that despite the hotels obvious recently added screens we were overlooked in particular in the shower by numerous workmen between 9am and 5.30 pm and at other times by the sites security staff. In addition to banging, shouting and machinery noise which was quite intrusive particularly in the early mornings. The staff offered to move us and were clearly aware of and also unhappy about this adjoining disturbance/intrusion for their guests. The building is far off completion so I suspect there are many more months of this to come. I would not advise against staying here and personally would do so again however I would ensure that our room was not one of those affected.

I just had THE BEST massage from Jeanette in the spa. Wow!! I’ve had many all around the world and this one stood out. If you want to get rid of tight muscles, look not further. Great hotel and wonderful staff! Both restaurants were great. Try the banana beer too! Thank you for a lovely time.
