Onomo Hotel Kigali

Nice hotel and views. Overpriced for a 3 stars hotel

Comfortable for our stop over before travelling to Volcanoes National Park. Basic amenities in the room, good breakfast, friendly staff.

This is a wonderful hotel. We had a late flight back to the US and the hotel management granted us an extended check out will beyond the normal check out. The hotel is very clean, has a beautiful infinity pool. Only reason for 4 vs. 5 stars service in the restaurant was quite slow.

It's a nice place to stay. The only problem is the room is only for one person, for couple you have to add more money.

I’ve traveled extensively, but my stay at Onomo Hotel Kigali was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever encountered. The service was terrible, they serve international cuisine, but it is the worst food I've had. The tablecloths in the dining area were dirty, making meals even more unappetizing. After enduring four unpleasant nights, I had to cut my trip short and leave three days earlier than planned. When I inquired about a refund for the unused nights, the staff initially informed me that they typically charge for one night in case of cancellations. However, they had me fill out a form at the reception and assured me I would be reimbursed for three nights within three weeks. It’s now been over two months, and not only have I received no refund, but they’ve also completely ignored my follow-up emails. What’s even more outrageous is that their booking policy claims they don’t charge anything until 12 PM on the day of arrival—yet here I am, still fighting to get my money back for nights I didn’t even stay. This is basically stealing my money. This level of unprofessionalism and dishonesty is unacceptable. I would strongly advise against staying at Onomo Hotel Kigali. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else!
