Amazing hotel with fantastic view. Friendly staff and nice location

The location of the hotel is good, in the center of the city, very close to attractions and shopping malls, and there is also a subway station nearby, which is very convenient. 🧹Sanitation: The buildings in the Soviet era, the internal facilities are relatively old, and the sanitary conditions are good.

Staff allowed us to check in early as our room was available. The views over looking the Maidan or great. The decor is very Eastern European, those who like that will be pleased.. Cant ask for a better location

I stayed there twice in Mach, 2023 The location couldn't be better - with a fantastic view of Independence Square, within walking distance of all kinds of attractions. The breakfast is fantastic. The staff - the two ladies at the front desk, the ladies serving breakfast, and the security guards- are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel offered everything I needed. After staying there once with little idea in advance, I loved it so much that I chose it again when I returned to Kyiv for one day. When I arrived at night for my second stay, only the security guard was there. He speaks good English and took care of my check-in efficiently. I look forward to returning to it again. Hope I will be able to book a room for the victory parade that will take place sooner or later. I posted this review on Google Maps originally but Google Maps has shadow-banned all my reviews of the places in Ukraine that I visited.

I had been over in Kyiv doing humanitarian work with animals for a couple of weeks so decided to book this hotel for my last night in Kyiv. Although a little dated this is most definitely the most excited I have ever been about a hotel. I was given a room on the 7th floor which was literally the very best view of the whole of Kyiv. I was on the phone showing my family until late into the night and up at 06:00 staring out of my window in awe. It is an excellent location, probably the best in Kyiv. There was a bath in the bathroom with a huge room and bed. Immaculately cleaned. The main landmarks are not too far away. It felt strange having a day as a tourist after working in an animal shelter but was just what I needed before the very long journey ahead. Breakfast was literally everything on the menu brought to your table, again with a view of Independence Square. There is a shelter in the basement which fortunately I did not have to visit during my stay. Thank you for an amazing stay and the perfect room.

On arrival the first thing you'll notice is how big the hotel is...it towers above Independence Square. The reception area is very large with a variety to the right and the reception desks to the left. Check in was simple as it was all pre booked. The only formalities was the city tax which was roughly £8pp. We had booked an Business Suite and it was plenty big enough for the 3 of us. It had a large double sofa bed in the lounge where there was a table and a set of doors to a very small balcony(if your brave enough) the second bedroom was large with another good size bed which had a decent sized office off of it. The bathroom was standard with the usual bath/shower sink and toilet. The bar was well priced and draught larger was around £1.20 We had breakfast included with our room but for me and the rest of our group it was pretty poor. Randomly and who knew, brocoli and cauliflower were breakfast items. Overall the hitel is well priced, right in the middle or not far away of all the things you would want to see. As I first time traveler to kiev it worked well.

For our trip to Kyiv, what better place to stay than at a stark Soviet built hotel. What an amazing place. Grand lobby and dining room but plain and basic beyond. We very kindly received a room with an amazing view of the square. The room had good free WIFI and was comfortable and warm, but hot water was hit & miss... Breakfast in the grand dining room was excellent with good tasting options and plenty to choose from. All the staff were very nice and easy access to the metro was a bonus. Overall VERY good value and I would stay again. The best part in the location and Kyiv is such an amazing city to visit.

2 night stop over in Kiev. Great location, with fantastic elevated view overlooking Independence Square. Central location for sightseeing and access to the bars and restaurants within 5 mins walk through the square. Excellent value for money. Upon check in, staff very friendly. A very spacious and clean room meeting all of our requirements, and an excellent choice at breakfast. Would definitely be first choice if I return to Kiev.

We really enjoyed our time here. The staff was very professional, nice, and efficient. The rooms were nice and open and a solid breakfast was available. Located in a perfect spot as well, close to amenities, sights, and the metro. Highly recommended if you travel to Kyiv!

ukrayna tatilimizde 3 aile çocuklarla otelde konakladık. girişte resepsiyon görevlisi hanım sağolsun bizleri kırmadı, oda ve manzara tercihlerimizi dikkate aldı. biz odada 2 yetişkin 2 çocuk kaldık suit oda verildi bir odada kanepeyi yataga cevirmişlerdi ancak yatak süngeri o kadar rahatsızdı ki yatılamadı. olsun dedik sıkıntı çıkarmadık ancak 2. gün aksam kaloriferler soğumaya başladı, resepsiyonla görüştük yetkili gelecek dediler adam geldi kalorifere dokundu ve çıktı. sonrasında yaglı radyator istedik ve bir daha o kalorifer hiç ısınmadı. dışarısı -10 derece ve pencerelerden soguk ruzgarlar esiyordu. ertesi sabah kahvaltıya indiğimizde kaloriferlerin orda çalıştığını gördük. bizim odamızda ısıtıcı vardı ancak diğer arkadaşların odaları için otelde ısıtıcı kalmadığını ögrendik onlara sadece battaniye verdiler ancak oda buz gibiydi. ertesi gün kavga ile kaloriferi yanan bir odaya geçebildiler ve 4 gun boyunca da kalorifer sorunu çözülmedi. manzara evet guzel olabilir, konum merkezi olabilir ancak kışın bir daha asla bu riski alıp otelde kalmayacağımı biliyorum

Ho scelto questa struttura per la sua storia e per la splendida posizione nel pieno centro di Kiev. Il palazzo in classica architettura sovietica è molto grande e dispone di 16 piani, nonostante abbia arredi che ricordano molto gli anni 70 si presenta accogliente nelle aree comuni. Al momento del check in ho chiesto la possibilità di avere una camera ai piani alti con vista sulla piazza, la ragazza gentilissima della reception mi ha dato la camera 1309 al 13 piano con una strepitosa vista sulla piazza Maidan. La camera si presentava pulita molto spaziosa, spartana negli arredi ma decorosa per il prezzo pagato. Bagno con vasca, asciugacapelli e prodotti come sapone, shampoo. Due bottiglie di acqua come welcome e poi giornalmente sostituite fine a fine soggiorno. La camera veniva rispettata tutti i giorni con cambio degli asciugamano e telo doccia. Colazione al buffet nel ristorante posto al secondo piano con una buona scelta tra dolce e salato. Possibilità di pranzare e cenare in Hotel. Personale gentile e disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Grazie per il bellissimo soggiorno a Kiev Camera 1309 dal 4 al 7 dicembre 2021. Se non avete particolari esigenze vi consiglio questa struttura.

Bin zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel. Bestes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön - nur das Badezimmer ist etwas klein. Frühstück im 2. Stock ist sehr gut. Check in und Check out war sehr schnell. Das Hotel liegt direkt im Zentrum.
