Die Lage des Hotels ist supernah an der Altstadt und dem „Erlebnisviertel“. Das Hotel ist schön gestaltet.

I was forced to pay for breakfasts in advance during check-in, despite having already paid in advance for my stay. And it's obvious why. It was awful. So I tried to cancel the breakfast for the 2nd morning of my stay and my request was refused. We didn't bother having it, despite having already paid. The wife also didn't like the fact that there was no hand sanitiser in the restaurant. So everyone was sharing serving implements at the buffet, in these times. Other than that. The room was fine, if a little cold. I didn't appreciate the lumpy pillow but it is what it is. The biggest complaint about the room was with the shower. Small rectangular shower with a curtain from the 90's. And you had to hold the shower up because it wasn't attached to the wall.

Ein eher schlichtes Hotel mit einer guten und weniger guten Lage gleichzeitig. Die Lage ist gut, da die Anleger der Ostseelinien und Kreuzfahrtterminals fußläufig in 5-10 minuten erreichbar sind. Ebenso ist die Fußgängerzone von Kiel um die Ecke. Ein Parkhaus ist direkt auf der anderen Strassenseite bei Bedarf und weitere Parkhäuser sind ebenso fußläufig gut erreichbar. Allerdings sind einige Rotlichtbars in dem Viertel in Richtung Hafen. Unser Zimmer war in den Hof gelegen und daher sehr ruhig. Das gesamte Hotel war sehr ruhig. Es war recht viel Platz vor dem Doppelbett, der Fernseher war allerdings schon sehr klein... Das Bad war auch nicht mehr das neueste, aber sauber! Die Rezeption war super freundlich, dies war auch schon vor dem Ankommen so, als wir nach Parkplätzen in der Nähe gefragt haben. Der Fahrstuhl ist Altbaulike recht klein, aber vorhanden und sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und ausreichend von allem! Preislich lag das Frühstück auch in einem akzeptablen Rahmen. Preislich ist es für die Schlichtheit etwas teuer, aber das liegt wohl an der Lage in der Nähe der Fußgängerzone und des Hafens. Alles in allem gerne wieder.

Schlichtes Hotel in sehr guter Lage zum Ostseekai und Schwedenkai und auch zur Altstadt. Wenn man wegen einer Schiffsreise vorher in Kiel nächtigt eine gute Wahl. Allerdings ein nur 1,6m Bett und der Mini-Fernseher passen nicht mehr ganz in die heutige Zeit. Parkgarage um 13 € vorhanden. Personal war freundlich. Preislevel etwas gehoben, aber wahrscheinlich der Lage geschuldet.
