Great stay at this hotel. Very clean and comfortable and the included breakfast was very good. Reception is not staffed after about 5.30 but when our flight was delayed we rang ahead and there was some to greet us and give us our keys. Good position on the marina and a taxi ride into town is about 14 euros. The ferry into Kiel and up to Laboe is nearby.

Stayed in the hotel for an extended weekend. Location is just on the shoreline with a view of the marina across the road. The fjord of Kiel is before your eyes. First impression of the hotel is style and attention to detail. The interior is themed in naval elegance with the best furniture and trimmings. The room is furnished with an excellent and wide bed and a spacious bathroom. Breakfast is delicious and the attentive staff is ready to cater for your needs - we like our morning eggs in certain ways 😁. There simply is no finger to put on any aspect. Treet yourselves!

Room, location and staff were top notch. Unfortunately, the breakfast was below our expectations and much worse than the previous visit. The cheese was dried on the edges. The sausage was also apparently older. The omelette had been on the stove for a while and was not fresh, like the other egg dishes including bacon and sausage. According to the menu, there is an extra charge for some "dishes". Bread rolls were dry and sticky. Unfortunately, there is no longer a bar.

The members' meeting of the Schleswig-Holstein Automobile Club was carried out very well. After the meetings, roast beef with fried potatoes was traditionally served for around 60 people.
