The guest house was great, very quiet, located in beautiful, safe area. I can recommend it to anyone anytime. But small small feedback. Please consider having someone around who can answer questions when guests are around.

We had never been to Kidd's Beach before and we absolutely loved our stay here, wish we had stayed longer. Quiet, peaceful and beautifully decorated. 3 minute walk to the beach was a bonus. Bed and pillows were super comfy. John was a great host - as we were the only ones staying the night, he gave us an upgraded room. We will definitely be back and I have recommended The Coelacanth Guesthouse to friends and family! Best part of the stay was having Marilyn and Nutmeg make us feel so welcome - it was like being at home! We will definitely be back for a longer stay....

I recently visited Coelacanth guesthouse for a long weekend and the place is absolutely beautiful, very safe, clean oooh my daugter enjoyed the company of cats (Mirian) our bedrooms were clean, the kitchen had everything needed. i would totaly recommend to those who wish to vist East London. Thank you so much John for good hospitality 100%

The room was beautiful and clean, very quiet and peaceful . Only stayed 1 night would go back there if we needed to stay in Kidds Beach again.

The Guest House was very responsive from booking time to the time of my stay. It is a relaxed place that feels like home. It is clean and provides everything you need as a traveller. I was disappointed though for not having breakfast - they should update their information on booking sites. I also could not figure out how the TV worked but I arrived quite late at night to wake people.

Limited things to do if you have kids with you but for to persons great. I would recommend others to go and stay there. The location is close to the beach and the walk I had was beautiful and peaceful. It is also safe

John made us feel welcome and do not hesitate to help where he could. We enjoy the balcony. To listen to the ocean was so calming. Everything was clean and in good working condition . Nutmeg the cat was a extra bonus.

Our host was extremely welcoming, friendly and went out of her way to ensure that all our needs were met. Rooms were very spacious, spotless and tastefully furnished. Only a block away from the sea and close to a stunning beach.
