We had a fantastic day, from start to finish could not fault anything. Staci and the team excelled in all areas, friendliness, professional at all times. The wedding was amazing and went so smooth , all our guests loved the venue, food, and staff! A big thank you for making our day so special! Steve and Neil.

We stayed for our anniversary. From the moment we stepped through the door, the staff couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely. We stayed in Maple which was immaculate. The bed was superking and so comfortable and the bathroom was massive! We had dinner in the restaurant. We had the 9 course taster menu with wine pairing. One word - Wow! Every course was sublime and the service was second to none. The staff are very young; one of our waiters was Harry who was only 19, but he was professional, friendly and so knowledgeable as a sommelier. If he was my son, I'd be so proud of him. He'll go far, I'm sure, as will the many other young waiters and waitresses. Breakfast was very nice and lots of variety. All in all, highly recommend.

After booking a different hotel 18 months before our wedding and then being let down and canceling that venue we went to Brockencote on the off chance they may have something available, we met Staci the wedding and events manager, she showed us around a couple of the Feature Rooms then booked us in for 3 nights, we got married off site and had our wedding breakfast locally but that didn't matter to the hotel or it’s amazing staff, from check-in on Friday afternoon with Angela on reception they made us feel so welcome and really couldn't do enough for us, Saturday morning I returned back to the hotel to pick up the grooms car and Angela was amazing and helped with our buttonholes (after I had pricked my finger and got blood on my flower) we was allowed to use the hotel and grounds for photos with our photographer which was fantastic and we was very grateful for this, Jack the general manager was at breakfast and he really was a lovely young man, looked so calm and just glided around room as of nothing bothered him and everything was a pleasure for him to do, Staci, Angela and Jack are a real credit to this hotel, then there were the waitresses and the barman (sorry we didn't get their names) all very helpful attentitove and attention to detail, a pleasure to have them helping us. All in all, if you book this place we can promise you will not be disappointed, we was very lucky with the weather and could wonder around the grounds and sit by the lake and Dovedale (boathouse) it was a lovely walk around the estate, we see the beehives, horses, walked through the sheep (that was looking at us strangely)haha then to the secret garden, tennis court then the croquet lawn. If we were to do our wedding again and wanted to book a venue, there would be no decision to make, it would be here hands down and we will defiantly be returning and recommending hotel to family and friends. Once again, thank you thank you for making our weekend so special. Scott and Tina ❤️❤️

Excellent Hotel. The lady on reception was extremely friendly and helpful and very welcoming. All staff are excellent. The hotel is very clean and grounds are beautiful. We ate in the Bar on one evening and the Chaddersley Restaurant on the second evening. Both meals were really lovely and again all staff are extremely pleasant helpful and well trained. All staff are a credit to the team. Special mention to Luke in the Chaddersley restaurant who was helpful and infromative. The lady in charge of breakfast on Friday 25th October was also really lovely but I didnt catch her name and I didnt see her on Saturday. Breakfast was really delcious and in lovely surroundings and well presented with a good choice and high quality food. The only area I would think could be improved is I felt the bathroom on our superior room was dated and in need of refurbishment for the quality of hotel.

The experience was lovely, beautiful hotel, the receptionist was exceptional and could not do enough for you. The hotel staff were wonderful, the only thing we had an issue with was we did not know we had to book a table for food in the bar area, we had to wait a while for drinks we had two rooms the first room was lovely but very hot and the room we had the second night was too small and had too many stairs no long mirror and nowhere to hang my dresses but the bathroom was beautiful

Before arriving at the hotel a very friendly and helpful lady called Lyn assisted me with my booking and on arriving to the hotel we were pleased to see she was sitting at the reception desk where her wonderful service continued. She gave us a gorgeous double aspect room which had fabulous views of the lake and fields. The hotel grounds were lovely to walk around before we had an informal dinner in bar area. The service from all the staff was fabulous and thanks especially to Lyn we will all be returning and we explore the other hotels within the Eden Group ! 😃

We very much enjoyed afternoon tea for my mum's eightieth birthday at Brockencote. All the staff were very attentive and the cakes were absolutely divine. Nice selection of sandwiches and a sausage roll which was unusual but very tasty. The grounds and lake are beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Excellent stay at a lovely venue, room and bathroom were spacious and well equipped. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were excellent, professional but friendly. Food was delicious but menu choice was disappointing. Same menu on both nights with limited choice. Overall a very enjoyable stay and will probably visit again. A
