Beautiful location and buildings. Amazing gardens with a huge pond. Very pleasing on the eye. The room I am in is superb (10/10). Room 2. A warm welcome especially as I am travelling solo and often I get 2nd class treatment for this. But here they are lovely. Bar excellent. Restaurant excellent. Room unbelievable. What a bath!! You will love it

Beautiful hotel in a great surrounding. . Staff were absolutely superb in every way. Polite, attentive and friendly. No special mentions as they were all great. Food very good, varied and well presented. We stopped for three nights in the Camelia room. Quiet, spotlessly clean and with those welcome extras- honey flapjacks replaced daily, fresh milk , complementary water and more! Thoroughly enjoyed our break and thanks to everyone who made it so.

We enjoyed a two night stay in a wonderful room with superb views across the grounds. There were so many little touches to make our stay more special, home made cordial, flapjacks and fruit. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and the bar menu contained varied dishes - the young barman was incredible and also served at table. Breakfast was delicious and we will certainly be back to stay again!

Having previously facilitated a large group afternoon tea at Brockencote Hall, I returned today with a friend. On arrival, I was greeted by name, my coat taken and I was seated in a lovely window location. The waiter explained how they would serve our afternoon tea and offered us a complimentary cold tea whilst we waited. We had a selection of finger sandwiches, 2 savoury pieces, 4 deserts and a large pot of tea each. This followed with more tea (at our request) and 4 mini scones served with jam and clotted cream. Every member of staff (amazing young man) whose service was exemplary and gave an elevated experience. What I love about their food is that they grow many ingredients themselves and the season determines what food they offer. Everything tasted amazing. Worth every penny. I could happily become a lady that lunches.

Very comfortable stay in a delightful setting. Beautiful views from the room and total peace. It effectively functions as a room only with a modest continental breakfast on Monday and Tuesday and as such is appropriately priced. Warm welcome and a very pleasant room. The hotel could probably do with a little investment to freshen up the decor but it’s a very civilized place. Room had an excellent bed, a super sized tv, lovely homemade flapjacks and their own cordial in the fridge. Definitely worth staying at.

Had an afternoon tea. Very good. Tasty sandwiches and savouries. Selection of cakes and nice scones which seemed home made. Plenty of jam and cream provided. Free drinks refills. Service was good. Set in large grounds with a nice view from the restaurant. Plenty of parking.

Visited on a snowy day and were greeted and guided to sofas for a pre dinner drink by the lovely fireplace in the room where we got married a few years ago.! Lovely friendly staff and great three course Sunday lunch. It’s a fabulous venue for a special occasion, the rooms are so comfortable and the grounds beautiful m.
