After booking a different hotel 18 months before our wedding and then being let down and canceling that venue we went to Brockencote on the off chance they may have something available, we met Staci the wedding and events manager, she showed us around a couple of the Feature Rooms then booked us in for 3 nights, we got married off site and had our wedding breakfast locally but that didn't matter to the hotel or it’s amazing staff, from check-in on Friday afternoon with Angela on reception they made us feel so welcome and really couldn't do enough for us, Saturday morning I returned back to the hotel to pick up the grooms car and Angela was amazing and helped with our buttonholes (after I had pricked my finger and got blood on my flower) we was allowed to use the hotel and grounds for photos with our photographer which was fantastic and we was very grateful for this, Jack the general manager was at breakfast and he really was a lovely young man, looked so calm and just glided around room as of nothing bothered him and everything was a pleasure for him to do, Staci, Angela and Jack are a real credit to this hotel, then there were the waitresses and the barman (sorry we didn't get their names) all very helpful attentitove and attention to detail, a pleasure to have them helping us. All in all, if you book this place we can promise you will not be disappointed, we was very lucky with the weather and could wonder around the grounds and sit by the lake and Dovedale (boathouse) it was a lovely walk around the estate, we see the beehives, horses, walked through the sheep (that was looking at us strangely)haha then to the secret garden, tennis court then the croquet lawn. If we were to do our wedding again and wanted to book a venue, there would be no decision to make, it would be here hands down and we will defiantly be returning and recommending hotel to family and friends. Once again, thank you thank you for making our weekend so special. Scott and Tina ❤️❤️
