Such a lovely hotel, a converted mill that has kept lots of original features, amazing staff that go above and beyond, we had some lost property and they checked cctv and bedrooms for it and were really kind. Lovely breakfast, the kitchen is small but food was fresh and delicious. Really good night sleep, it was quiet and its location on a retail park means we heard no outside noise. Best premier inn we have stayed in - and we’ve done a few

What a lovely hotel. For a Premier Inn, this one is up there with the best. We often choose to stay at Premier Inn when we need a base for a weekend away and quite often come away feeling disappointed in the cleanliness. But this hotel restored my faith- everything about our stay was great. Yes the lift is slow but there’s signs to warn you of this- plus- it’s not THAT slow. Parking is with Euro Carparks which you can pay by machine or an app, we used PayByPhone. We have been to this hotel before when visiting the safari park, as it’s only a ten minute car journey away, so this weekend on a return visit to the safari park we opted to stay here again and so glad we did. The whole place is clean and tidy and so well managed. Next time we go to the safari park we will be staying here again!

Stayed for 1 night as a family of 2 adults, 1 6 year old and a baby. Booked a quad room which was a big bed and two singles so plenty of room. The room was big, spacious and spotless. The building is a historic building so lovely exposed brick work in the room but it meant that our windows didn’t open. We had the heating on for a bit as the room was cold on arrival but then found cooling it down a challenge! We didn’t want the air con on as they tend to spew out all the rubbish from the filters. Hotel was extremely quiet albeit half term - no noise from hallway etc. Breakfast was buffet option. Loads to choose from - something for everyone. Nutella for kids etc. Lift is slow but not painfully so. Didn’t find it an issue. Parking is right outside and there is a Pizza Hut across the car park that we would recommend. Cost us £11 to park for 24 hours. There’s also a B&M and a Boots so handy if you’ve forgotten anything. The hotel is 6 minutes away from West Midlands Safari Park. Given we paid £60 for the room and breakfasts for all members we would totally recommend.

Great Premier Inn in a fabulous old building. Really friendly helpful staff. Absolutely phenomenal breakfast great ingredients, freshly cooked, piping hot. Without dought the best Premier Inn breakfast I’ve had and I stay in them about 30 times a year travelling. The only negative is it has the slowest lift ever which they openly acknowledge with a witty notice in the lift itself

Very run down with marks all over walls and ceiling. Carpet looked very grubby. Freezing cold in room, had to ask for a heater. Bathroom fan didn't work, bathroom smelt of urine. Had to ask for it to be cleaned. Kettle leaked from spout. Only 1 lift working and it's the slow one. Check-in took a very long time as the staff member was also dealing with the guy fixing the vending machine. Would not stay here again and wouldn't recommend it.

They joke about the lift being slow and taking over a minute to go from the ground to the 4th floor to be able to check in at reception, but it's not a joke if you are stuck in a lift hoping it's no broken down. GET THE LIST FIXED. Check in was really slow because of a lack of staff, as they were busy being a waiter in the restaurant before becoming a receptionist to check you in. Check was smooth, even if it was a waiting time of about 5 minutes. Room was clean, room was a bit shabby in it's finishing touches. Was bad to have to ask for room to be serviced, rather than it being done automatically, which is a hotel standard. But guessing you have cut costs?? We checked out just before 8 and the traffic warden is waiting in the car park to catch out thoose that ain't up ,so you're been warned, get down to your car to pay

Spotlessly clean room. Comfy bed and powerful shower. Very quiet corridor which meant I wasn't disturbed and hence slept well. WiFi OK plenty of tea and coffee all in all a comfortable stay. Plus being a lady on my own I felt safe. Only downside was having to pay for parking. Y
