Was so impressed with this hotel 5 years ago that we returned again in October 2023 and they gave us the same room we occupied before. This was a water pool access room which is a must if you stay here. The rooms are large with a massive bed and has all the facilities you could wish for. Although we did no eat our main meals in the Italian restaurant we had breakfast which covers all variety of foods and freshly cooked eggs and bacon on request. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful. A particular mention to Tounchai the barman who served us daily at the pool bar during Happy hour with delicious cocktails. Also to the maid (sorry can't remember her name) who cleaned our room 1123 and left wonderful creations on our bed. The hotel is situated within 5 minutes walk from the beach and close to many bars and restaurants. Bang Niang Market which is 2 mins walk is open every Mon, Weds, Thur and Sat which does street food and has many stalls. The Waters is highly recommended.

Super clean and newly renovated hotel with a small pool, located a little inland. Great value for money even for Thailand!!! Breakfast available for 150bht. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. We were told the times for the local buses, and storing our luggage was no problem either. We will definitely come back here!!!

We upgraded from 2 suites from a package TUI booking pool villa 838 costing about 42K THB for 14 nights in November and December 2022. 2 adults, and 2 kids age 17 and 10 so the privacy of a private pool was one of our highlights of the holiday. This is such a peaceful resort with beautiful surroundings and very helpful staff. Notably Emme, Gift, Mark, Tee, Big, Yuda, Tar, Pecky and Winai. This resort is not within walking distance of town / Biang Nang market area, and a taxi to go there will set you back 300 THB each way from the guys on the beach outside the gate. That's the going rate both ways so don't be conned by a chancer. In the resort there's 2 restaurants, one's a buffet and the Napalai on the villa side of the river and you can eat from both if you upgrade. There are 2 swimming pools, several bars and organised trips to temples, islands, local markets, animal sanctuaries offered from the front desk or holiday rep so you aren't cut off from civilisation by being in such a remote area surrounded by beach and jungle, which is actually a plus point if you're a surfer, nature or beach lover because this resort scores a 10 if that's what interests you. We didn't travel to Thailand for the nightlife, just to chill in some winter sun. There's ample entertainment just 10 minutes away from the resort, in town or Memories bar, but if you want boom, boom, boom and all night drinking go to Phuket instead. I'd definitely return, but not with children.

We booked this 5 star resort and had a 3 star experience.pros and cons. Pros The staff were lovely, Nam and Yada were very friendly and looked after us very well in the Beach Bar restaurant. The A la Carte menu was large and the food was excellent. Smoothies were lovely and the wine was reasonable. In hindsight though I wish we had booked half board or bed and breakfast. Plenty of staff on reception. Great aircon Cons: All inclusive didn’t mean everything was all inclusive. Room service, the Japanese restaurant (the nearest bar to beach) and the drinks sold on the hotel beach were not included. Kids in the gym!!!!! Health and safety issues re the pool Not enough sun beds and no amenities on the lovely beach Limited draw space in the room, poor lighting in bathroom Too many unruly kids in the evening in the restaurant and hotel management invisible. I am still waiting for Tui and Kalima to respond to my complaint ref no 12244212 Tips Just book bed and breakfast, use as a base. Walk 10 minutes to the left down to the beach and spend your money with Farmai and Lanna. Local people with hearts of gold! Only book a week and move to a different location for your second week.

The service staff are very helpful. There is no elevator in the hotel, so they help to lift it upstairs. The location is good, next to a local night market, but a bit far from the beach. The room card was lost. The front desk initially said that a compensation of 500 baht was required, but when they finally left, they only said that the compensation was 300 baht, which was quite reasonable.

Been there few weeks ago and it's such an unforgettable experience!! Eventhough the hotel was still in a soft opening (at that time, not so sure about when it's gonna be full operate) but there are so many things than very nice. The room are very nice, clean and fluffy comforatble bed. Also have so many interesting detials about it. The food at the restaurant are DIVINE!! You must try PrumPra!! The food was so delicious yet there are stories in each dish. Breakfast also very nice, stay for 2 night the food are different on each morning, love it. The main pool are next to the beach so my kids can enjoy both at the same time. The pool bar also very nice as well. There's the rock pool next to the beach in the evening you can walk along the coast and enjoy witn the sunset view. The staff are very helpful and ready to help you :) Highly recommend!

Were in this hotel in November 2022, it was better and breakfast and cleaning and water were replenished (although it is also on the floor from the Kuller type, but now a large group of Animators has appeared, though there is practically no sense from them, the children's room, which is still in a separate building does not work, but the animators themselves hang out there (cool), and the children's wretched without anyone (just empty and wretched) room. They don’t really do anything and receive a salary and also housing and food. We have been to many 5* hotels in Kaolack. We really wanted to visit Robison. What I liked: Large territory It doesn’t feel like there are a lot of guests at all There is a VIP zone (villa area and restaurant there) Large beach and gentle entrance to the sea. Very good food. We paid extra at the reception for 3 meals a day and it’s more profitable, even drinks are included. Of the minuses: Tired hotel, you walk along the paths and realize that it’s the last century. The miniclub is not open on Saturday - it's trash! Unkept lawns and grass. It's like they're not watering it.

Ocean Leaf Great hotel, friendly staff, nice room, clean pool and good breakfast. 2 mins walk from a lovely clean Sandy beach. We stayed here for four nights to unwind before our backpacking adventure across Thailand. Do not try and eat within two hundred meters of the hotel if you want a nice and affordable meal, walk up to the main drag. Go Pong is a good choice, but there are lots of others. The location was amazing, almost empty beaches, beautiful ocean, nice stuff always a smile on their faces. Outside the resort you can find really good food. Only minus is breakfast and the food of the restaurants, it is more delicious outside the resort. Not much variety for breakfast, and restaurants for dinner are at restaurant overpriced, you expect more for this price.
