Loved this place. Maria treated us like royalty at meal times. Loved the individual cabins that have everything one needs and the fact that they grow their own veggies in the yards of the cabins and around the property. There is a pool and despite the robo cleaner, it still needed a little more skimming off the top of the water. Beach towels provided.

Stayed at this lodge during a tour of Namibia. The place is already out giving you space and privacy away from the main lobby. They have flowers and vegetables planted in every room’s garden. Huge pool and well stocked gift shop. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area.

Stopped for one night as we were travelling to Etosha from Swakompund. This lovely gem in the 'wilderness' provides a nice resting place. Staff very welcoming, we got a good orientation. I fell in love with the cottage- type accomodation each with their own little well maintained vegetable/ herb garden. The rooms were very clean , bed comfortable, wifi ok, good books in the hotel shop. There was plenty to eat at breakfast Got a good rest Thanks to all staff

Fantastic place. Lovely rooms in little bungalows with their own gardens and vegetable patches. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The toiletries in the bathroom were also wonderful - I wanted to buy some hand wash form the shop but sadly they were out of stock. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet - plenty of choice for vegetarians. I particularly liked all the nuts and seeds available and happily added a good sprinkling to my cereal. The sunset terrace is a pretty straightforward walk uphill on a path and there’s a bar where drinks can be ordered whilst enjoying the views. The barman was also very good at pointing out distant wildlife - he showed us a herd of kudus sheltering under some trees. The pool was a little on the chilly side but it was nice and refreshing and lovely to relax beside. Loads of birds in the grounds, umbrellas are provided for shelter when walking to/from the rooms. Lovely staff - all were very helpful and cheerful.

Stopped here in between the rock art and Etosha. It was such an oasis of color, art, lovely service and nature. There is a walking trail around the grounds, a sundowner bar and the rooms were well appointed and more in with 5 star than 3. Also after days of no hot water from some 4 star hotels in Swakopmund, it was a relief to have consistent hot water with great water pressure and a working air conditioner that actually cooled the room. The one suggestion I have is to have a warm main meal for vegetarians- I would make the same suggestion to all hotels in Namibia probably. They did have a vegetarian soup and large salad bar which was nice. It was too cold to swim but the pool was large and inviting. I hope to come back again one day.

The Mopane Lodge is an amazing place surrounded by mile or open plains. The hotel rooms are all individual bungalows, each having a unique garden of flowers or vegetables. There is a wonderful garden area surrounding the pool. The dining area is outside under cover and the night we were there was a very substantial buffet. Staff are all very friendly. There is a sunset bar a short (uphill) walk from the front of the hotel.

This place have friendly staff with great customer service. They are attitude is driven towards making your stay memorable. Their food also great and the prices for drinks was reasonable. I really enjoyed my stay here.

This hotel has a lovely resident cat so immediately I loved the place! The rooms are really charming with them being done in rows of chalets each with your own herb or vegetable garden. The place is also a bird-lover's delight. Food was good and quite a large shop on site. No wi-fi in the rooms but excellent signal all around the main reception area, no no complaints from me.
