Hotels near Dom Tum Suan Pa Thamyan Monastery in Khon Kaen

The room is clean. It's very big and wide, but the sound of the pub is so loud that until 3 a.m. I still couldn't sleep. Even though we're on the 7th floor.

Great place to stay for a short-term trip in Khon Kaen. Near different street food places. A lot of stray dogs nearby but they aren’t dangerous. Is 10-15 minutes away from central plaza.

Nice hotel very clean nothing not to like would stay again description needs updating says hotel only 0.4 kilometres from bus station but this bus station now closed so we had to make our way from the new bus station terminal about 8 kilometres away otherwise no complaints

Roma Hotel or Roma Hotel is located on the city road. Khon Kaen Municipality It is a hotel that has been built for many years as well, but the interior has been renovated to look a modern model, but still has a mix of classic and old style hotels. Close to many tourist attractions, great prices, opposite there are famous restaurants. Next to the en-ot shop is a souvenir shop of Che Rat Khon Kaen.

We stayed in a triple room for 2 nights. The room itself was spacious and furnished like a studio-room condominium. The hotel location is a bit far from downtown area but there're several good and inexpensive restaurants nearby, just walking. Wifi in the room was not stable and quite slow. Cleanliness is an area for improvement, but for now still acceptable. Staff were nice and friendly as expected. There's an complimentary snack station on the ground floor. A parking lot was behind the hotel for free of charge.

After a grand opening, I wanted to take a few days to relax before heading home. The room is amazing, and the food is incredible (I recommend Italian food). I look forward to returning. On the 28th floor, the highlight is a glass bridge that is 105 meters long. Enjoy the romantic evening atmosphere.

Price is not expensive. Large and nice with floor to ceiling windows/ doors to the balcony. Can see the local people in their daily life. Can hear a bit of vehicle sounds but that doesn’t bother me. Got basic toiletries and 2 bottles of water. Old but good to stay. The male staff working at night at the front desk is polite and welcoming. We arrived by song theaw from Khon Kean bus station then walked into the small lane for a few minutes.

We stayed at the Mantra Varee for 1 night in May 2019 when visiting the Green Market. We did think that it would be within walking distance to the market but on advice of hotel staff we used a taxi for the short drive! Following a swift check in with the very pleasant staff we were lead to our superior room. Having paid only £16 (with a small promo included) I was instantly surprised at how big it was! In fact every aspect of the room was better than I expected for the price. Stylish decor with a decent bed, shower and wifi. Small negatives would be not a fat lot of storage if staying for more than a couple of days and then there was the bed surround. Looked good but a bit faffy and meant you had to get out of bed twice, visit and you'll see what I mean! On exploring the location of the hotel there's not a great deal in the close proximity. There is a 7-11 roughly 200 yards away and if you walk for 11 minutes you reach the neat little Fairy Mall. We had a mooch here and ate some really decent food in the court. The hotel has a pool and gym, neither of which I got to use but I took a look. The pool was pleasant looking for a quick dip but not really big enough for lengths. The gym was what I would call a token gym ie. small and poorly equipped. We did eat breakfast at the Mantra Varee and I would describe it as very so so. There is very limited choice on offer at the buffet. I had rice soup which was bland and unseasoned. There is a 'nespresso' style machine for coffee with buttons to select all manner of fancy coffees but whatever you press you end up with watery black coffee! I wouldn't choose breakfast as an option unless it was included! On the whole, the Mantra Varee is a good budget choice with an ok location and friendly staff. I would stay here again.

รู้สึกไม่ประทับใจในการบริการอย่างมากของพนักงาน... กำลังอาบน้ำ น้ำไม่ไหล แชมพูยาสระผมเต็มตัว ในห้องพักไม่มีโทรศัพท์ต้องออกมาโทรษัพท์ที่ ทางเดินฟอร์ หาพนักงานโอเปอเรเตอร์แจ้งว่าน้ำไม่ไหลพนักงานถามว่า พักตึกB หรือเปล่าค่ะ คือเราไม่รู้หรอกว่าเรานอนตึกไหนบอกไปว่าอยู่ห้อง309ค่ะ พนักงานแจ้งว่ามีน้ำห้องอื่นไม่ไหลเช่นกัน เดี่ยวรอช่างขึ้นไปแก้ไขนะค่ะ แล้วก็เงียบไปนาน จนต้องไปขออาบน้ำห้องแม่ 310 น้ำไหลปกติ และเช็คเอ้าท์ แจ้งพนักงานว่าพี่รอน้ำนานมากจนต้องไปอาบน้ำห้องคุณแม่ที่จริงถ้ามีบางห้องที่น้ำไหลหรือมีทางแก้ปัญหาอะไรควรแสดงให้ลูกค้ารับรู้ถึงการขออภัย ในฐานะพนักงานของโรงแรม พนักงานสวนกลับเพื่อพยายามอธิบายและเงียบไปไม่มีแม้แต่คำว่าขออภัยหรือขอโทษจนกระทั้งเช็คเอ้าท์ ****สาระสำคัญของเรื่องนี้คืออะไร ขออนุญาตแชร์ความคิดในฐานะที่ตนเองก็ทำงานบริการเช่นกัน คือการสื่อสารในการบริการ ทั้งน้ำเสียง สีหน้า คำพูด การแสดงออกทางกริยา ต่อลูกค้า งานบริการเป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญ พนักงานบริการควรได้รับการฝึกอบรมให้มีทักษะการให้บริการ ความผิดพลาดเกิดขึ้นได้ แต่สิ่งสำคัญคือคุณจะแสดงออกอย่างไรให้ลูกค้่ารู้สึกว่าคุณกำลังใส่ใจลูกค้า ในความบกพร่องของโรงแรมและเป็นตัวแทนของโรงแรมเพื่อรักษาภาพลักษณ์

I discovered this place online, on special at an amazingly economical price, so I took the plunge and reserved my room. Glad I did, as the service was on point, the location is super convenient (walk to transport, markets, bars, restaurant shopping centres etc) and my room just felt like home, albeit a 70s chic abode. the reception staff are smart, helpful and on call 24 hours a day. It is guest friendly and there are laundry machines on site. If you want some beverages just ask the staff. Don't be fooled by the dated facade when you arrive as inside you will quaint charm (see my Coffee Chill TV YouTube Vlog) and well appointed rooms. I am thinking I will be back
