It was to be expected that we would leave you a negative review! We were victims of overbooking by the hotelier who opened too many available rooms on *********** and Agoda. Other negative reviews indicate that this is not the first time... Our group of 6 people and a French family present at our side found ourselves without our reservations honored. For our part, a reservation made months ago for 3 bungalows overlooking the Mekong. We were rehoused in 3 rooms in a building, of course without a view of the river. For the French, a reservation of 2 rooms for a total of 4 people which in the end was grouped into 1 room. From there our stay began with a bitter taste, already paid in advance we were obliged to stay for our 4 nights. We tried to communicate with the manager who in very confused and summary English said that she had "surclassified"/"upgrated" us to compensate for this overbooking. We never received any calls or emails to be informed of their error and their commercial proposal. We are disappointed and immediately inform them of it, but nothing to do. The lack of professionalism and efficiency of the establishment forces us to take the rooms that were assigned to us against our will. Then the adventures worsen with the discovery of our rooms. One of them has no mosquito net, a bath mat still damp and wrinkled (we deduce that it has not been changed), the shower palm is broken and placed next to the pipe, the wooden furniture is broken and the glass of the glass door is broken. The woodwork of our rooms is gnawed by vermin, the bathroom mirrors are speckled with toothpaste stains... In short, for an upgrade as it was announced to us, we do not see where the luxury is, especially since we did not book these rooms. We returned to report this after checking the rooms, the hotel was full, we definitely would not have our rooms reserved and no action was taken by the hotelier. Worse! Even worse, the manager had the nerve to tell us to shut up and not cause her any problems "no more complain", "don't make any trouble". Absolutely scandalous unprofessionalism. We offered to have a morning of free breakfast as a gesture of goodwill, our request was refused. We still had breakfast on site during the 4 mornings and each service was catastrophic. Dishes were forgotten on several occasions, scattered service and above all very very very slow (1h30 the record), wrong bills that meant having to be recounted with the manager when paying and even when the group split into two batches, we were asked to pay what our friends had already paid.
