Perfect location, just a 5 minute walk from the old city down a very peaceful boulevard. The hotel itself was nice but the staff were particularly amazing - special shoutout to Ulug'bek who spoke excellent english, was extremely helpful and informative, and was just generally pleasant to talk to. Also the staff took us into the kitchens to see Plov and Sumalak being made, and served us for free. They were very generous hosts. If I was visiting Khiva again, I would definitely stay here.

It was a pleasant stay. Hotel or nice and clean. The room was spacious and stuff friendly and helpful. It is located close to the train station and next to the park. You will need a taxi to reach historical part of the city. Breakfast was ok. Swimming pool is great for children and adults. It was quite cold in may, because it is outdoor and unheated.

We were received well. We were fed a delicious lunch. We were placed in room 112 next to RESEPSHN. Cleaning the room with a C grade. In the bathroom there was a piece of soap from the previous occupant. The sink is dirty. There is a large red stain of unknown origin in the bathroom. Instead of new toilet paper there was a small remainder. When asked to bring toiletries, they only brought towels (good quality cotton). Despite repeated reminders, toiletries were never delivered. There was no electric kettle in the room, although there were similar ones in other rooms (there were only two cups of dishes). The bed linen is synthetic. The photo of the room does not correspond to the real situation. Sound insulation is poor, all calls and conversations in RESEPSHN can be heard. In the evening it was very noisy due to the noisy and noisy children of the hotel staff. Overall, the hotel deserves two stars with a three rating.
