The Boutique Khanom

The accommodation is in a top location on Khanom Beach. But this is the only point with which this accommodation can score points. We arrived by car and were greeted very coolly. No help with suitcases etc. The house is set back a bit from the small block with 4 rooms right on the beach. You would think that accommodation at just 3 years old would still be worth it. But this was not so. The two rooms, each with a double bed, were filled with warm, humid air. The bathroom with brown, dirty silicone joints, shabby and unkempt. Mosquitoes and geckos in every room. The bed was as hard as a board. Breakfast in the morning topped it all off. Behind the house was the kitchen and a public toilet. Stone tables and stone chairs in the blazing sun were the seating options for breakfast. A camping aluminum table served as a shelf for the water dispenser. There were Instant Nespresso Cafe sachets, sugar and creamer on the table. That's it! We asked about the food... a lady then disappeared into the kitchen. After a while she came with plates each containing 2 fried eggs, 2 Seven Eleven mini sausages and 2 slices of toast. You weren't even asked what you wanted. We then left the accommodation and came back every day to see what happened next. It wasn't until the fourth day that the room was tidied, the bed was made and toilet paper was refilled. Conclusion: Stay away and a disgrace for every family looking for accommodation there!
