Kimpton Winslow's Bungalows

Amazing and friendly staff. My second time staying there and I love how it’s easy access to restaurants and bars and the center of the city

Cute set up, with lots of little cottages on a beautiful, green property with lots of chickens. Property and rooms were very clean. This property changed from a Kimpton to a private group after my booking. Did not know that until I tried to get on wifi. Receptionist did not share this information at checkin and the info handed to us did not show the update. Our room was clean and a moderate size...no closet! How does a hotel room not have a closet? Did not notice until a couple days in that there were drawers under the bed, one of which held a safe. The bathroom was very spacious, clean and well-equipped. There was nothing spectacular about this property for the price. The breakfast offered was mediocre and there were days that the help could not keep up with clean plates, flatware, napkins, food, etc. Not well-managed

Great location close to everything in Old Town. Easy walking distance to many attractions. Breakfast was very good. Pools were nice and clean. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Will stay here again

Great location that’s convenient to all the sights. The property was lovely with 3 pools well appointed rooms and helpful staff.

Proprty was listed as "upscale". There was nothing upscale about it. Bathroom floor was sticky. Found small bugs crawling around empty trash can in room. When I asked front desk for itemized bill, they printed out only the $166 resort fee. Not the $2100 that I paid. After asking several times, via email for the bill, they blocked me. Will not recommend Winslows Bungalows.

The property needed a lot of fixing up, cracks / wood breaking, gutters overloaded, garden overgrown, pools need a repaint. The staff came twice to check on the room, and were there for less than 20 seconds, long enough to pull the bedsheet up and tight (still dirty though from before my arrival) and fold two soaked towels I had draped over the top of the shower. The place had dirt on the floors and the counters, and everything outside was in need of a clean or a wipe. The ice cube maker spat out some cubes with black bits (tree?) in the ice, two times. The room had a bit of a funky smell the whole time. The paper thin walls helped hear the neighbours going about their "business." The front desk were very polite, but 'help' in any form meant drawing/circling where the hotel was on a map, then Hemingway House and a sister hotel. Not even suggesting what to do at the sister hotel, like go for a drink or a meal. Just circled it. The hardest working person was the breakfast man who was rushing out eggo waffles and fresh fruit. He did great, for a simple job. No signs of effort, urgency, or frankly any care on the part of any other staff. Just going about an annoying job, it seemed. It was very expensive but relatively fine in the context of other hotels which I'm assuming suffered Covid downturns too. So maybe par for the course for KW. I wouldn't go back to Key West anytime soon. Low value for the dollar even coming from freezing Canada. The sunsets were nice tho!

Fun and convenient location to Duval and all the dining and shopping! Far enough away to be quiet and comfortable. Nice place with a pleasant atmosphere.
