You don’t have to leave the property. The pool is beautiful. Restaurant right next-door, and another bar/restaurant on the other side. Great food at the restaurants.

have stayed there multiple times and always had a great experience. pool is very nice, location is quiet and away from main roads but easy to get around the keys from here

I love this place and will be back. It's pretty, i had a room facing the canal. A bar and grill on each end of the property. I loved Sharky's. Relaxed, good menu. The pool at the resort is well maintained. The staff are amazing

Perfect place to star one night stop on our way to the Keys.
Clean room and comfortable bed and a simple but ok breakfast before getting on the road.
The rooms are Ok but the tiny bathroom needs to be renovated.
Note the walls don’t seem to be insulated, could here everything next door.
Great location with the restaurant next door.

This resort hotel is sandwiched between several other hotels/motels. The lady who checked us in was very helpful & the room was very clean. However, parking is hard to find. This place is being upgraded--slowly--from the look of it. Because of its cleanliness it was o-k for a two night stay. Also, the beds were very comfy.
Negatives: hot water in the sink is slow to heat and there is a slat broken off of part of one of the window shades. I used a pillow to block it. The complimentary breakfast was typical for many motels, but plenty adequate for our needs. We were really only in the room for sleeping so I would say it was a good stay.

Marina del mar resort and marina was a lovely little motel to stay in. It was clean, the views are gorgeous, access to the pool as well as the pool next door (which has a bar), abd Skippers the restaurant was lovely. The kids really enjoyed watching the men filet their catch of the day and feed the nurse sharks right off the dock! You can even enjoy your continental breakfast by the marina. Gorgeous!
The property is due for an update. It is very old and starting to come apart. The beds have been recently updated however the showers are old and coming unglued in areas and the tiles have alit if soap scum that just wont scrub out anymore. But jyst old - NOT DIRTY.
Given the opportunity, i would stay here again. Dont let something that is outdated keep you from enjoying this lovely motel.

The room was spacious and clean . The terrace looking out on the water and yachts was so wonderful and relaxing . The pool and hot tub was great . Enjoyed our stay !!!
