It's a beautiful little villa. I booked a single room. Although the room is small, it's enough for one night.
The living room on the second floor is very British, I like it.
The breakfast is a traditional English breakfast, and there is so much that you can't finish it all.
The landlord, Lucy, is very amiable. The only drawback is that the heating is intermittent and it is quite cold at night. I put my down jacket on top of the quilt to keep warm. Maybe the bed is too close to the window. It is really cold.
In addition, the electric towel rack in the bathroom also provides intermittent heating.
It's a little far from the center of town, and there are still garbage from the previous guest in my room. It's really environmentally friendly. Overall it's good

A nice friendly hotel, would definitely come back. Excellent facilities, comfortable bed.
Very good breakfast. The hotel is well situated just a couple of minutes from the town. The owner and the staff are very welcoming.

Lovely place
This was the perfect spot for a solo hiking break in the lakes. Room was nice and comfortable, breakfast was lovely, the service was friendly and overall it was great value for money. The location is ideal, a 10 minute walk to Derwent Water and a short drive from Skiddaw, Latrigg and a number of other lovely fells. I would definitely recommend and will be returning!

Lovely character property convenient for town centre which is within a few minutes walk. Very clean and breakfast was excellent - well worth a visit - would definitely recommend.
