Lovely comfortable guest house minutes from town centre and lake. There is parking which is a bit tight but we didn’t use our car so not an issue. We had room 1 on the top floor it had a bedroom , shower and a separate sitting room with amazing views. Plenty of storage, tv, well stocked tea tray, toiletries. The breakfast which you preordered night before was delicious, freshly cooked and very tasty with vegan and vegetarian options. Staff friendly too.

What a great stay! Stopped in the annexe in room 5. Recently refurbished to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. Plenty of it and so hot! Yes, you have to pre order but that is not a problem and saves on food waste. Ziggy is very welcoming. We've been coming to Keswick for many years and always stop here. We look forward to our next stay.

We had a very lovely stay for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had an excellent breakfast and felt very welcome. Very friendly and kind hosts. Really nice location, short walk to everything. We are looking to go back again soon.

Had the most wonderful stay at Ferndene over Christmas. This is our second visit here this year and again we were v impressed. Both Ziggy & Duncan were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed in both the suite and this time round the Annex, both lovely well equipped rooms. Well done guys, and look forward to hopefully seeing you again in the coming months. John & Jan x

Such a gorgeous bed and breakfast. Great decor, well kept/looked after and you can tell it’s loved. Great location and parking not a problem as there is a small carpark and free street parking. 2 min walk into the town. The owners and staff are so lovely and make an effort. Delicious breakfast too. Definitely recommend and definitely will stay again! Thank you!

What a gem of a B&B ! Less than 5 mins walk to centre of Keswick , on site parking,friendly owner and staff , extremely clean , beautiful freshly cooked choice of breakfasts ,stayed in “small “room but it was very well equipped and definitely not cramped , highly recommend and wouldn’t look anywhere else if returning to Keswick

Outstanding! Welcome was warm and friendly Facilities were exceptional- clean, neat and very tidy Breakfast outstanding - Beautifully presented and all dietary needs catered for The service was outstanding - polite, welcoming and made out stay an amazing time The room was wonderful - crisp white bedding, thick soft towels - and a fantastic view! Perfect in every way! Thank you We will definitely return 😄

10/10 Immaculate! Bedroom and en-suite - perfect! Breakfast - Superb, All Dietary Needs Catered For! The staff are warm and very welcoming! They presented my husband with a card, cake and balloon for his birthday, when they saw the cards in our room! 🎁 So We will certainly return to this lovely establishment!
