Twa Dogs Inn

Room was clean and tidy, value for money. Good location for walking into Keswick. Plenty of parking space. Food good value, Staff very welcoming and friendly. Have been before back in Nov 2022. Would definitely come back next time we visit Keswick.

We have eaten here a few times now and the food is always excellent, the service is great the the staff are friendly and helpful. If you need a warm place to eat great food after a day in the lakes (the Sunday lunch is a particular highlight), this is the place to go!

Don’t waste your time or money booking to stay here First night kept awake with slamming doors The rooms are tired and dated the whole place could do with a deep clean especially the shower but don’t worry to much about that because there probably won’t be any hot water which is ok if you want a cold shower I had to boil the kettle so I could get washed So just spend abit more money and stay somewhere else

We have been to the Twa Dogs for food a few times and because of the quality we decided to have a boxing day festive feast as we were working Christmas day. What can I say it was fabulous well worth the price. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much we are definitely going to be back anyone coming to Keswick needs to try the Twa Dogs

We live in Newcastle so Keswick is close enough to pop over for one night. Lots of places only allow you to book for 2 night minimum so i was pleased to find the Twa Dogs inn. Great location, room was clean and warm. There was some noise from the pub which you would expect but after a day of walking , shopping and drinking we were asleep as soon as our head hit the pillow. Will definitely visit again.

This place is fantastic… Sports on, great beer, darts, pool, great atmosphere… The landlord Chris is an absolute gentleman who goes above and beyond. Our car broke down, and Chris has allowed us to use the car park at his pub to keep the car, until I can arrange pick up. Popping in for drinks whilst awaiting a bus gave us a real insight into the pride and passion Chris puts into this pub. All the best - a certain return within at least 3 months Andy - Blackpool

Lovely Sunday lunch. Joy very accommodating for our party of 15. Booked before and Joy contacted me on the day to confirm my booking. Food and service very good would recommend the roast lamb Sunday dinner.vWould recommend.

There were fifteen of us booked in for Sunday lunch. The service was excellent. We all enjoyed our food, which was reasonably priced, would definitely recommend. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Thank you. We would love to return again sometime.

After reading the reviews etc I was expecting to find a totally run-down pub. Presently surprised to see this was not the case. Yes it does need a lot of TLC, the gent's toilets sorry to say are a disgrace. If you can't keep your toilets clean, what is the kitchen like. On the upside the bar staff friendly and helpful. The folk group on Sunday afternoon a pleasure to listen to. Please just do the TLC and you are on to a winner.
