Where do i even start.😂 This place is an absolute disgrace. Stayed here for 3 nights. No tea and coffee facilities, no TV , no wifi in the rooms. Quilt was ripped (photo attached) The singular pillow was like a bag of cement. No hand towel to dry your hands with so asked the owner of the B and B and she said we don’t normally give out hand towels. 😂 No hand wash either. No towel rail in the bathroom so towel was damp from the day before. The shower was nothing but a trickle, couldnt get soap out of my hair . No wardrobe in the room . Breakfast was shocking. We were told to pick something from the menu, the menu was a whiteboard on the wall with 3 options. When woke up in the morning’s condensation was covering the inside of the window ( photo attached ) Heating was only turned on sparingly and when we asked for it to be turned on we were told it has been a mild November. Hallway is old and musty and has a candle lit in it everyday to cover the smell of damp and mould. Arrived back on the second evening and the ambulance service and the guards were there and there was not a representative of the B and B there to assist them.

We arrived and were shown our room via a dark, dingy smelly corridor. Room smelt musty and dirty. It was very basic, no TV, tea/coffee facilities. No wardrobe to speak of. There were paint marks covering the chair. The bathroom was dirty, again paint stains on the floor. It had a sliding door that didn’t close. We didn’t have a shower as there was grime on the grout and around the sink taps. There is only Wifi in the lounge and we were ushered out at 10pm. Breakfast was very poor quality, not much choice. Orange juice looked and tasted like weak squash. Full Irish, we think not! Roadside sign states recently refurbished but we couldn’t see any evidence of this. We were booked in and paid for 2 nights but we left after 1, as we felt grubby and couldn’t get out of there quick enough. The worse place we have ever stayed. The place needs a full refurbishment

An Absolute Dump ! I travelled to Killarney for a cycling event taking place. When we got there, we met others who were there for the same event. We had a 7.15am departure. No effort was made to try and put on any breakfast for the approx 7 cyclists. Even the hot water boiler wasn't hot. Spoke with other who stayed in different B&Bin Killarney who were treated much better. The whole place is like something from the 1980's. No tv in rooms, No Tv in sitting room and it was in darkness. Bathroom in room was a disgrace. Damp, Cold. Bulbs blown. Freyed Carpets. I recon there are better hostels out there. €160 and made no effort to put up a breakfast. Obviously the owner is not depending on repeat business due to Killarney being so busy all the time. What you see in the photos is nowhere close to the experience. And the best laugh of all.... The road signage says "Recently Refurbished" DO not stay here. Much Much nicer places to say in Killarney

Booked to stay at this b&b for 2 nights but we had to leave after the first night as the accommodation was so bad. The bedroom was cold, I asked for an extra duvet and I was told I would need to pay extra as it would be an upgrade. The bathroom had a sliding door that didn’t close. There was no tv or tea making facilities in the bedroom. When we arrived we were giving a list of ‘rules’ - one being if we lost the room key we would have to pay €100. Poor breakfast and the b&b was in complete darkness when we arrived home at 11pm. When we told the lady we would be leaving after the first night and asked for a refund it was refused and she didn’t even ask us how the experience was and why we were leaving. Waste of money

The rooms and the bathrooms are very old. Bad quality. Low category . Without Tv, Cofee,Heat.. Bad breadfast, orange juice is other thing, no orange. You should look for other B&B in Killorny. Only de landscape is good...................

The lady of the house is very friendly, she gives all the explanattions, inlcuding some of the house rules - which by the way where also shared in advance via e-mail. The rooms are basic and simple, but we slept well in a comfortable bed. We asked to leave early before the breakfast time and they made an effort to foresee some breakfast for us to enjoy. Not the full option breakfast, but they did the effort anyway, which I can appreaciate.

The guest house is very tired and needs a lot of work doing to it bring it in line with other B&Bs. Firstly we have never stayed in and B&Bs where there is no tea making facilities, no Tv in the room, internet not working in the room, no heating on the room was very cold in the night and early morning, bedroom was damp and condensation dripping down the single glazed windows, the bathroom was very cold, I bet this room as been like this for the last 40 years with no work at all been done in this room The lounge sitting room was full of flys and little bugs round the large window The breakfast, I don’t know how you can pass the orange juice off as orange juice tasted like something directly out of the river. The first day’s breakfast, everything was cold and I think the eggs must have been cooked the night before they were that rubbery and everything on the plate was cold. I’m not sure where the rooms are shown in some of the photos on there website but ours was a really really poor. Really poor place no better than a hostel.

Horrible If I could - I would not even give it a one star rating From the moment myself and my friends arrived (5 of us altogether) we were approached by the owner who told us to “be quiet” as she did not want the “Americans” to request a refund due to noise. We didn’t think much of it but then when we walked in we realised we made a bad decision paying to stay here. I would not call it a B and B it was more like a school dorm, everything extremely outdated and we were given “Rules” to abide by. We walked into our room and could smell mould. There was no toiletries in the bathroom, no soap to wash our hands, no hand towel to dry our hands and only one towel per bed. There was no iron, no kettle and no tv. The bed was damp and the room felt miserable. We had the view of the lake but we had the insects that came with that view, all over the shower and our bed boards. We left the B and B that night to go for dinner, when we came back the hotel room was absolutely freezing, we were all shaken from the cold. I mean we paid enough money to stay here you could at least put the heating on? The door would not lock from the inside as the door knob and the whole interior was dated from the 80’s. We had to sleep with the door unlocked? Extremely unsafe ! We woke up the next morning and the walls were dripping with condensation, the bed sheets were damp and the windows were soaking with the condensation!!! I went for a “shower” you would get more of a wash if you went into the lake, a dribble to wash yourself with! When we checked out, the lady at the reception asked us how our stay was, we told her it was not great and that the room was absolutely freezing, to which we received an odd look as if she never heard this remark before about this B and B. She did not apologise for the inconvenience of this which I thought was odd? We were walking to our car in the Cark park and the owner went out of her way to ask what room we were staying in and if we definitely have back the keys??? Very condescending and rude behaviour from an owner? I feel like this is a place for the owner to get quick money, a tourist trap! There is no sense of hospitality here. Do not bother staying here, the worst place I have ever stayed! The pictures are NOTHING like the “B and B” Definitely not coming back and extremely disgusted with the conditions we had to sleep in that night!!! Very very odd

The rooms are basic in terms of amenities, but more than make up for with their views. Waking up to the sight of the river is beautiful. Moreover, I was impressed by the cleanliness maintained throughout the accommodation. One of the highlights of my visit was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine smiles and helpfulness, making me feel instantly at home.
