O'Sheas Ceol Na Habhann B&B

We enjoyed our two night stay here which was conveniently located for our Ring of Kerry drive. Our room and bathroom were spacious and we enjoyed a comfortable and quiet stay. Our hostess was very friendly when we arrived and throughout our stay. We also made arrangements, due to our drive schedule, and she graciously hosted our early breakfast. It was greatly appreciated helping us beat the crowds and get in some sites before the weather turned. Breakfast was setup every morning with cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee from Nespresso pods. I had the Irish breakfast with scrambled eggs and the tastiest bacon to date on this trip. The pancakes were also quite good and we would leave full for our roadtrip. We packed the home made scones for snacks on the road and they were flaky and tasty. They do prefer to settle accounts with cash versus credit card. There is an ATM in Kenmare if needed.

Warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, delicious breakfasts, and the host was incredibly gracious and welcoming, making us feel like we were at home. Our stay at the B&B was truly memorable, and we would highly recommend it to others.

We had a superb one night stay here recently. Great family rooms with well maintained facilities and other great areas such as a seperate TV room. It’s close enough to town but you’ll feel nicely tucked away up the hill. Breakfast the next day was exceptional as well as the freshly baked scones. I believe the host was Teresa, thank you for making us feel welcome.

I can’t say enough about Therese, the owner of the bed-and-breakfast. Her communication prior to us arriving was excellent. Via emails, she offered a better price than a third party provider if we paid cash. The room was very warm and homey, as was the rest of the bed-and-breakfast. Therese went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I arrived earlier than my husband so I had no car for a few days. She offered to drive me into town since it’s about a 30 minute walk, she did this on multiple occasions until he got here. The breakfast was delicious, we had the choice of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and her delightful scones and bread. It feels as if you’re in her home, her hospitality is top-notch. We would strongly recommend a stay at O’Sheas!

Therése is just an absolute gem of a lady. The bnb was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Therése's homemade scones were the icing on the cake at breakfast time. A wonderful stay. ❤️

I cannot express enough, the wonderful experience we had at O'Shea's and the hostess, Therese. The rooms were wonderful, plenty of room, hot shower, coffee pot, blow dryer, decor - everything was great. The farm is beautiful - it is a wonderful Irish setting! Therese was extremely helpful about planning our time in the area and her breakfast is fabulous. The area is Kenmare, a perfect Irish town - small enough to be homey and not overly crowded, but big enough to have plenty of pub, food and music choices. Thank you, Therese! You made our trip unforgettable!
