We traveled to Killarney for a holiday in April. I got a fabulous room at a very reasonable price in this hotel. This place has a fantastic view of the lakes and the mountains, and the picturesque trails from the campus are also worth a try. Definitely recommend anyone who visits Killarney to stay here. I wish we had more days to stay!!

My wife and I returned today after 4 nights in River Island Hotel. We found a friendly hotel with a warm welcome. Rooms were probably basic but very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities required. My mobility isn't great but there is a lift. You can't call it to the front door but reception which is up a few steps will send it down to you if you need it. Buffet breakfast is plentiful and evening meals are delicious so we ate there each night. We would certainly plan on staying there again. Value was amazing for the quality of the hotel.

Ard Na Sidhe is a beautiful hotel in an amazing setting with outstanding service in every way. The people are helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and the view from every window was spectacular. We drove into the very cute town of Killorglin and ate at Bunker's Pub, which was great. We had a private tour of the Dingle Peninsula which was awesome. So all in all it was fabulous!

We had our wedding in the Killarney Oaks Hotel in July 2023. We couldn’t have been happier with how the day went and all our dealings with Tara and the hotel staff. The hotel were amazing to deal with from the day we booked 2 years previous. The drinks reception is still being talked about by our guests, the service and setting is stunning, delicious food and modern affordable bedrooms. Tara had everything timed to perfection, we asked her to show the All Ireland hurling semi final during the meal and we timed the speeches for half time, it was done perfectly!! Food was delicious and catered brilliantly to people with dietary requirements. Lots of staff on so service was prompt and seemless, bar was running smoothly at all times. We arrived unexpectedly late to Tralee with no reservation. Stephen came to check us in within 5 minutes late into the night. We felt terrible, but he greeted us with kindness. The hostel is cared for, clean, homey and warm. The showers were incredible. We had a great nights sleep and coffee in the morning. However, we would have not known what to do late last night if Stephen had not taken us in (even though we were terribly inconsiderate and a bit, well desperate). It’s the kindness and hospitality we will remember most and would like to direct anyone coming to Tralee, wherever their journey takes them, to stay at the Castle Hostel.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, the staff wenr above and beyond for us! Special shout out to dominik who served us our drinks on the roof terrace and got a little celebration cakes for birthdays & wedding celebrations later this year 😊 will definitely be back

Myself and my family stayed here for one night so we didn't see all the facilities but we had a wonderful stay. We ordered an inter-connecting family room and it was huge! We had two very spacious, spotless bathrooms and very large bedrooms connected by an internal door. The beds were comfortable and the air-conditioning was very effective during the heat-wave. The breakfast was nice and the staff were all very pleasant. It was easy to park in the car park provided. I'd highly recommend a stay here.
