San Antonio Corfu Resort (Adults Only)

I am sitting writing this on my little garden terrace on our last night at the San Antonio resort. I don’t even know where to start….it was our first visit and suffice to say I will be back next year without a doubt. Every single thing about this beautiful hotel quietly insists you RELAX! The staff are the most wonderful I have met anywhere we have ever stayed- partly the beautiful natured greek people, but most certainly also the emphasis that the hotel places on training staff to such a high standard. Nothing is too much trouble, and always with a sincere smile. We stayed in block 1, close to reception, the restaurant and the beautiful little lower pool area. We had our own patio leading on to a little manicured garden with 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, with the most magnificent view of Kalami bay! I have been to various parts of Greece and Cyprus. Corfu, Kalami and San Antonio resort in particular is by far the most lovely place we have ever stayed. It is SPOTLESSLY clean, beautifully landscaped and the staff work so hard to keep it that way. Rooms cleaned daily by the most smiley cleaning staff, always a good morning, a beaming smile and their attention to detail is unmatched :-) Breakfast is delicious, always a great selection, never had a problem getting a table around 9 ish, never seemed too busy, which surprised me given its high season. Didn’t have a problem with getting beds at the pool either, but we did go earlyish- like before 10am most days. The Callao beach club across the road on the beach is also beautiful, the most comfortable sunbeds I’ve ever laid on, both at beach and pool :-) I have to mention some staff who stood out to us: in particular Vasilliki, at breakfast every day and by the lower pool- gorgeous person, so friendly, smiley, perfect English, loved her, she made us smile every day :-) Effi in the restaurant in the evenings, Georgios & Alex at the Callao beach club, Eleni in the reception office who booked a load of restaurants for us. We also happened to meet Maria, the owner, on our way out during our stay and she was really eager to know if we were enjoying our stay and was genuinely delighted to hear how much we were! It seems a real labour of love for this hotel and their people. I honestly don’t know how anyone could ever have a bad word to say about this place. σε ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ - se efharisto para poli San Antonio- we cannot wait to come back next year! X

We’ve just come home from a week at San Antonio for our honeymoon and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend it. The hotel was beautiful and modern - so tidy and the staff were all so accommodating and friendly. We used the rooftop pool most days and always managed to get a sun bed either first thing or later on in the afternoon. The pool was never busy or over crowded, which made is so relaxing. We also spent two afternoons on the beach where we reserved sunbeds for 20 euros for two. The hotel booked us a water taxi to travel over to Corfu Old Town and made us a reservation at Dimitris which came with a pick up from the hotel. Like previous posts, there is a short hill and steps up to your room but it’s worth it for the views at the top!! There are lifts and the staff are always on hand to give you a lift if needed.

First visit to Corfu and this hotel surpassed all our expectations, stunning location, amazing staff. It’s so peaceful and beautiful, I don’t think I’ve relaxed so much on a holiday. Kalami bay is just lovely, handful of tavernas but all really good. We took a water taxi to Agni Bay and ate at Nikolas taverna which was stunning. We always sat by the bottom pool which had more shade. We had a junior suite (room 223), stunning view from the spacious balcony which also had a day bed on it, just lovely. As many people say, they return year after year and now we can see why, definitely will return.

This hotel is outstanding. The location. The amenities. The views. The staff. The breakfast. The gardens. And so it goes on! Kalami is a beautiful, relatively unspoilt corner of Corfu, famous not only for the bay but also for The White House which was one of the Gerry Durrell houses. The local tavernas all serve very good food and are right in the edge of the sea so wonderfully relaxing. The hotel staff cater to your every need and are relentlessly cheerful. Ask for anything and they’ll go out of their way to do it. I’m not going to name and particular member of staff because they’re all so good. The rooms are excellent. We had the 2-storey “maisonette” and it was fabulous. Our room was on the top level but there’s a buggy that can run you up if you don’t want the walk. Breakfast is excellent, the choice so good you spend ages trying to work out what to have! An evening meal on the terrace is so relaxing. They even sorted out their lounge so a big group of us could watch the Euros! A true review isn’t complete with the “cons”. Firstly, this is a hotel built on a steep hill so there are a lot of steps and a very steep road up to the top level. Basically you’ll get fit! There are some trip hazards as well so beware. This possibly isn’t the hotel if you’re elderly and have mobility issues. Lastly, and this is a nice-to-have, they could put a wifi extender to the lower pool as in this day & age people want to be connected while relaxing! Apart from those couple of minor points, this is a fabulous hotel and we’ve already booked for next year!

I cannot fault this beautiful resort. The location, the staff, the rooms and the food were simply amazing! Spacious, spotless rooms with comfy beds and breathtaking views. I’ve travelled a lot but absolutely the best breakfast I’ve ever experienced. Amazing Greek specialities make an amazing addition along with a massive array of bread, fruit, pastries, pies, cooked options and mouthwatering cakes. The revani cake is a must try. The beach bar is such a cool place and the staff absolutely brilliant hosts who made our evenings so enjoyable. We already knew about the steps but they were a good way to work off the massive breakfasts ‍♀️ The whole resort is spotless. I cannot find a single fault. Top tips: rent a little boat or take the water taxi to visit San Stefano and eat at Eucalyptus restaurant or visit Agni Bay to eat at Toulas while admiring the super yachts. Just fantastic from beginning to end. Currently in our way home and missing it already! Thankyou to everyone there for a fantastic stay

Great holiday at this lovely hotel. Nice room - contemporary styling and well equipped. Amazing sea view from all rooms. Beautiful pool terrace with sun beds and parasols, always available during our trip. Excellent friendly staff throughout. Very good breakfast - plenty of choice. Lots of steps! But don’t be put off - we were towards the top of the resort, above the pool terrace, and enjoyed the challenge of walking up and down. Lifts available if needed. Kalami is a very pretty and peaceful resort, we loved it. There are a few bars and restaurants, also short walks up or down the coast provide other options. We especially liked Thomas’s on the beach in Kalami, Nikolas Taverna in Agni and Crystal Seaside in Yaliskari bay.

We stayed at the San Antonio Corfu Resort back in 2019 and loved it so much that we decided to go back for my 50th birthday. Upon arrival we were told that we would have to stay in alternative accommodation for the first night, due to a power outage in our room. The accommodation, which was not actually part of the hotel, was definitely not up to 4* standards and unfortunately that is where I woke up on my birthday, which was a bit disappointing. Thankfully things did get better, our room was upgraded and the rest of our stay was amazing. The breakfasts were delicious, our room was lovely and the view from our balcony was gorgeous. The hotel is beautiful and we would definitely return. Kalami holds a special place in my heart, I just love it there.

San Antonio is a top class hotel with excellent, friendly and professional staff. Our arrival was very welcoming, albeit there was an initial mix up with rooms (which was corrected immediately and courteously). We stayed in a Deluxe Double with sea view. The room was very spacious, clean and had stunning views of the bay. As the hotel is built into the hillside access to rooms is via steep climbs and steps but staff are very helpful with lifts in the golf carts that transfer you to the hotel lift, if needed. The roof top pool is in a stunning position, with great views, a nice bar (with very friendly staff) and plenty of available sunbeds during our stay. Breakfast was good; however, there is very limited choice for anyone who is Coeliac (Gluten Free diet). There is GF bread but during our stay the toaster was broken for the last three days; hence the bread could not be re-freshed using toaster bags. A separate GF area and more guidance would be a massive bonus, with cereals provided as is the case in many other hotels we have stayed in. The hotel has two restaurants, which were nice, whilst the village of Kalami had three other restaurants (all within easy walking distance) and all served good food/drinks. Additionally, you can book taxi transfers at reception, by water taxi (small charge) or road taxi (free) to other local restaurants. In summary, a great hotel in a beautiful location with exceptional staff.
