This was our first visit to Corfu or Greece and stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young teens) on an all inclusive basis. We booked through EasyJet and although when we booked it was classed as a 4 star we were emailed before the holiday to say that it was downgraded to a 3 star. However other operators are still listing as a 4 star and the hotel is proud of its 4 star status. Needless to say this isn’t a 4 star hotel but luckily we were notified of this (other holidaymakers didn’t know and were disappointed). Our experience of the hotel: Our hotel room was a 2 bedroom apartment, it was ok - clean but a bit tired. There was daytime and evening entertainment, this was a big highlight of the hotel and the 2 entertainment staff (Nina & Renee) are an absolute credit to the hotel. Daytime entertainment included water polo, darts and water aerobics. Evening entertainment included bingo, karaoke and a quiz. They were so friendly and bubbly, with all adults and children. We also had traditional greek dancing one evening which was really fun. The food was fairly varied and tried to include multiple international dishes. There was a lot of pork on the menu! The staff in the restaurant were great at clearing tables so that you didn’t have empty or dirty plates left in your table while you went up for your next course (or seconds!). The bar manager was very friendly. The pool was very clean. There is also a garden next to the shop with tortoises. Location: The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk outside of the small town of Kassiopi, in the North East of the island. There are a few small stoney beaches within 500m walk of the hotel, with views over to the Albanian coastline. The transfer from the airport to the hotel took 1.5 hours and as the return flight was in the afternoon we had lovely scenic views of the east Corfu coast as we travelled back. Pros: Rooms cleaned every day Friendly staff all around resort Entertainment team (Nina and Renee) were amazing and created such a fun environment for the whole family Good mix of food, local Greek recipes and international dishes Greek dancing night Bar manager was really friendly with all members of the family Close to small beaches (under 500 metres) Close to Kassiopi (about a 15 min walk) Cons: Patchy WiFi - not a big thing for us though White grating around pool and tiles around pool not very safe, someone fell through and almost hurt themselves badly. This was reported straight away but took the hotel maintenance team a day to fix.
